Storage?

I wonder if there was a storage system. I start collecting a few items now, but my inventory is full and I don't want to throw them away

 

If you go to the banks that are in most of the major towns (they contain emerald merchants and are labeled with emerald signs), there is an ender chest you can open which acts as a universal bank for your classes. Anything you put in it will stay in there until you take it out.
