Archer/Hunter Help How Do I Use Spring In A Build?

No matter what I try, I can't get Spring to be significantly stronger than Infused Hive Bow (i.e. nothing more than a few hundred on bombs). My most recent attempt was Spring vs. Water Hive Bow - 600 damage difference, same mana regen (10/4s), effectively the same Int output (because they both easily reach 129, and 147 only affects Shield), and the Hive Bow build gets extra sp for Agi, plus not having to rely on needing a Spring with good mana regen/Int boost. Am I missing something?

 

um i looked and um, yeah springs damage is pretty much the exact same as hive bows but hive gets more agility

 

I had issues with this same exact problem. I’m pretty sure you’ve already seen my water and Spring builds and saw that both have very similar damages. In comparison with thunder Hive Bow, Spring deals less damage (ignoring curse) and builds for less elemental defense than Hive, in exchange for a little bit more mr.

Until some build allows it to dish out more damage, I feel like it is not worth it to get a Spring over Hive, unless for fun.
