Warrior/Knight Help Tankonfusion ( Failure Of Necrosidium Attempt - Defense % Is Broken )

Necrosidium(previously Cancersidium) is the build I've planned with @LarzLapiz like 1~2 years ago.
Basically it's the attempt of making Praesidium usable for damage.

Sadly Praeaidium wasn't tank enough, so it turned into failure.
However, after 1.18 update,

I thought that now it's worth trying again.

This is the build using my Praeaidium.

Even if my Praesidium is bad, I thought it's still fine to tank the attacks.
So I decided to test the build on Qira but..


I died by Qira in few hits.



Following the Qira's stat on wiki, I shouldn't take that much damage.

So I thought about the reasons.

• Drones have much more damage.

Even earth drone is immune to Grandmother, it might have very high damage on elements.

But following this old Qira video..

This build might be the full tank build, and it can stand against drones. But Praesidium can reach Guaridan's defense easily. So maybe this is not the reason.

• Defense % works differently.

Now this is what I want to ask.
As Praeaidium's defenses are highly boosted, following the wynndata, it can even flip the negative defenses.

But what if it's not true?
If that works on that way, I'm not supposed to die that fast. huh....


Can someone explain how defense % works on negative raw defenses?
