Can't Get Wynntils To Work With Forge

So, no matter what I do, something always goes wrong and I can't use Wynntils. If I use the 1.7 version of forge, the game crashes straight away. If I use 1.13, it says Wynntils isn't a valid mod and if I use 1.12 it also just crashes. What can I do? I'm also using Optifine (as a mod, along with forge). I really want to use Wynntils but I just cant get it to work.

but note that wynncraft is made to play without mods, as sometimes mods break some stuff
