Fate Of Fallen Quest Bugged

so i only just started fate of fallen and collected the staff to give to the mage but once i gave it to him and the dialogue went through the portal did not appear to jump through i disconnected and tried a different world but anytime i join a new word none of the npcs not even the dungeon merchants spawn in and i am unable to leave because of invisible walls. please help!!!!

 

try to /kill if you have more than 6 soul points, and try to do the quest again
that would probably fix this

 

your an absolute legend man it worked but now ive got another problem as my game crashed after i defended the portal and then when i relaunched it spawned me under the map so i had to do /kill again but that brought me back to nesaak and now the mage is glitched as he has no dialogue and i cant give him the staff to open the portal

 

i don't know which mage you are talking about, but i assume you are talking about Telvu
he isn't glitched, he has no dialoge programmed after you've gotten this dialoge:

• Telvu: Aha, quick job. I see you've the wand. Must've needed a sharp tongue to get the bankers to give it up.
• Telvu: Now, it is a long walk to Time Valley. Needn't take that walk, though, as I can teleport you there. Hopefully.
• Telvu: Doing so is exhausting. I'll only be able to do so once, so if something goes wrong, you'll have to walk back yourself.
• Telvu: Once you're there, enter the Temple of Time. You should know what to do once you are there. Careful dealing with time travel, friend... No idea what you might find

he says he can only teleport you once to time valley, so you should walk there on your own with the staff and enter the portal
about the crash, i suggest you should try playing without mods if you have those on, and in 1.12.2, as that is the most stable version right now

this happened to me to
bring the staff to the time valley building (in the time valley) and just continue on, no fast tp, but it's ok
