Boat Hoppers

Accidentally threw my dungeon bow into the hopper on the boat system. Cant get it back sadly just wanted to warn people to drop lock your stuff!

 

If you don't already know about it, I recommend using /itemlock.

I believe there are already mentions of "/itemlock." If not, the staff seem to only pin their own posts.

 

would be nice to have the seaskipper himself be the hopper (as a kind of dungeon merchant) so stuff like this won’t happen anymore. Hoppers are being phased out of the game, and might as well do it to the seaskipper too.

 

I agree. Though of course the itemlock command is helpful with securing that which you will virtually never remove from your inventory (i.e. your main weapon, your horse, etc.), I personally would not remember to itemlock every single thing which I think it is possible I might have the misfortune of losing in the future due to an impulsive mistake. After all, the first inventory row is convenient to hold random items you might need very soon - including the Seaskipper passes - so there is always the chance to accidentally throw away an item you were planning on using just a little bit later on. Having the captain himself be the method by which to give your pass would certainly solve this potential issue - not to mention it would make the gameplay even just slightly more immersive since you are actually handing the captain the ticket instead of throwing it into a hole on the ship haha

 

Only problem I have with itemlock is it can glitch your item out of existence when your inventory is full and you're like sorting your bank or smth with a full inv
