[solved] Stuck In Quest [ Dwarves And Doguns Part I ]

Hello Forum Members,

I cant continue the quest Dwarves and Doguns Part I.

I killed the 3 guards in the eastern part of the base. And left the base trough the tunnel, where i went the wrong way and dropped down again on the lower Molten Heights, instead of going up to the upper Molten Heights.

When i come back to the base, where i fought the Dwarven Guards, i get told to go to the tunnel again, but when i try to go in the black teleportation area, i dont get teleported. When i try to leave the base, i get teleported away from the exit and they tell me to go to the tunnel.

Is this the only way to get to the upper Molten Heights or is there another way to go up?

You might be able to get to the upper layer with movement spell abuse

 

Yes, i also tried this out. But i wasnt succesful so far. I also had the idea to swim up one of the lava streams, but i thought, that there are better or other ways.

 

There are multiple other ways to Upper MH actually.
First, you can go to the MH entrance from CoTL (with the giant statues) and behind the southern statue should be a small path upwards. Going on that path and turning east should lead you into a cave, following that to the end will bring you to upper MH.
Another option is to go to the border of MH and Sky Islands, there should be a giant stone staircase at some point on the border. Go up the staircase and into the cave it leads to, which is the same cave as the first option. That will also bring you to the top.

From the exit of that cave, you have to go east to reach the area the quest would've brought you to.
