So which CT member was it that said the number of T3/T4 chests would remain approximately the same after the update? Because this is clearly not the case, seeing as Adomorn's lootruns alone overtake this total, and that doesn't include the 30ish that were in western Gavel, the 15-20 or so that were scattered across the ocean and all of non-Dernel Wynn.

(if it wasn't clear, I retract my previous defenses on the subject)

 

I think there are 150+ chests… but almost None are neutral... before the update there were entire lootruns with neutral chests..

 

Neutral to leveled I'm not particularly concerned about. I spent a lot of time defending the claim that the changes were numerically neutral, but clearly that's not the case.

(nice video by the way, now I can grind concentrations :P)

 

Buff mob drops. Nerf loot chests. Nice thread.

 

Further nerfs just hurt incoming players a lot more, hindering their ability to make money. I agree with buffing mob drops though.

8:25 there's another T3 in the tunnel with the Death Worms, before you drop down into the purple crystal cave.

 

At 33:15 if you turn left at the fork in the cave there's a T3 you missed

There's a T3 in detlas too (Fountain)

Ok, so to clear things up, which of these is the case:
#1 - There are, and is intended to be, less T3/T4 loot chests than before.
#2 - There are, but were not intended to be, less T3/T4 loot chests than before (e.g. not enough time to put in all of the planned ones).
#3 - There are intended to be less T3/T4 loot chests than before.

If I remember correctly (probably not remembering correctly lol) ConquistadorBob said something to the effect of #2.
