Getting Rid Of Quest Items From Previous Save

I recently started playing again, but my old stuff from my other save is still in my enderchest. I threw away all items, but I can't get rid of my quest items. is there a way to do this? I deleted my old save, but only after I started a new save.

 

If you click the compass, you may find a Daily Rewards chest. Dumping quest items in it and closing the chest will get rid of them.

Just don't do /fixquests; they will probably come back.

 

You can also put them into the 2x2 crafting grid in your inventory, fill all inventory slots with items and close your inventory

 

Ofc this will only work every 24hrs. Just depends upon if you want to wait for the daily chest to get rid of your quest items or not.

Where as this method will work every time.

With both methods, just like mentioned before, don't do /fixquests unless you really need to get an item back that you have lost. The other items you have gotten rid of will return and you will have to repeat one of the two methods to get rid of the items you don't want.
