I understand that it's supposed to be pretty grindy but jesus christ, it took me three days just to get from 44 to 45. That's just way too fucking much

If it takes you 3 days to level up a single low level, you might want to heavily reconsider where you're grinding. Completing quests is always going to be the best XP source, so you should prioritize them before grinding as well. With quests and discoveries, the required grind is a really minor part of combat level progression. Wynn isn't purposefully grindy, but much like every RPG ever made, there needs to be something that slows down progression, that prevents people from leveling up from 1 to 100 within a few hours.

I mean you probably can get 1-100 in a few hours but it'd have to be 3x xp and you have to have a ton of xp gear
Edit: I kinda want to try this...

I don't know any good grinding spots for my level, but I usually sit around Nessak, killing the mobs there. I played way, way back before there were any new ranks and powders didn't exist and such. I do not remember Wynn being this grindy back then.

Why are there so many starving people in Venezuela? "Becaouse that's just how it is. I've been to a lot of cummunist countries and I've starved a lot."

This may be a stupid comparison, but just becaouse something is used by everybody, it doesn't actually mean it's actually good.

It took me 7 hours to get from 60 to 74. You just need to figure out a better grinding area. And do the quests for that level.

Around 43/44 there is indeed a dip in the speed you get levels, as it is the first time you have to actually look for a place to get some xp, instead of just getting all your xp off of random mobs and quests. I highly recommend getting some xp bonus gear, maybe you can look on the trade market for gear or try to find it yourself (look at www.wynndata.tk/items for a good overview). Then you can either do some dungeons (Ice Barrows should've just opened up for you) or find a good spot with mobs you can consistently kill and give a decent amount of xp.

that or you've played like 10 minutes a day, that could be the problem too

Wynncraft is only grindy from lvl55-68(in my opinion). All other levels have quests and grind spots which lets people level up quite fast.

It seems like you may need a little bit of help finding grind spots if it is taking that long to level up. Three days to go up one level in the mid game is way too long. You could try doing dungeons or quests to get EXP but if you want to find spots where you can grind mobs with high spawn rates and high XP trying looking on the online map https://map.wynncraft.com/#/-1583/64/-1636/min/Wynncraft - overworld/Wynncraft World Grind spots are labeled on that map with blaze powder.

I should note that these grind spots have much harder mobs in terms of stats so if you are level 45 and you don't have very good gear or consumables you might want to try a level 35 or 40 grind spot. Although if you want to take the risk of going to the very hard ones the EXP should bump you up very quickly in terms of levels.

do some quests, much more xp than killing random stuff in nesaak. Until you gain acess to a good grinding spot with an xp set like bob’s tomb.

In the 40s, it should not be taking that much time to level up. 15-20 minutes per level, tops, excluding quests - which you should be doing as many as possible. Quests are more efficient than general grinding, although a bit less efficient than grinding at optimal locations with very good XP bonus gear (usually something people only do after multiple full playthroughs).

My gear is too under powered for the Ice Barrows dungeon. I usually would play 5-6 hours, but the day I got to 44, I played all day, the next day from 11:30-24:00 and that alone got me 1/4 the way to level 45. I also think it's worth noting that ever since they added a minimum requirement of skill levels to armour and swords, it's been very hard to use the decent gear I have in my bank.

What are you using? Class/build etc?
Also have you been doing the quests in llevigar? Those are around your level and should give pretty good amounts of xp

Having also started playing in the pre-Gavel era, leaving, and returning about a year ago, I can say with confidence that the game is many times less grindy than it used to be.

You could try the Grave Robber grind spot - take the bridge to the House of Twain area, and immediately after that turn left and take the smaller bridge across the river. There's a spot that spawns a small number of grave robbers yielding in the range of 1000 to 1500 xp each, which should level you up very quickly.

II've been doing quests in Nessak
I did that spot while I was still level 43, but ever since I got to 44 and 45, they give me 200-300 xp

Yeah, grave robbers should be giving way more than that. Although, even at only 200-300 it should still take under an hour to level up.
