Overall Class Positions And Meta

Archer melee is a bit of a joke no matter how strong, simply because it's single target and hard to hit. GMA can reach Alkatraz levels of damage (25k+) but it'd be pretty unreliable given how hard it is to hit melee with Archer - if you go close you're liable to die pretty quickly anyway, since even with good Def/Agi you're still talking no better than ~50% of baseline damage (counting Agi), vs. a typical Alkatraz build yielding ~40% damage reduction + natural Warrior resistance + Warscream + Agi = ~10% of baseline damage. Add to that the fact that with Alkatraz you won't be draining health, and the fact that you're close enough to your enemies to use Quake effectively anyway, and Archer is at a disadvantage in melee.

Gert Shootstick Tossflinger is quite a bit weaker, this is the best I could get: https://wynndata.tk/s/aObCi5 although it does have the advantage of being full neutral, it still pretty much caps at 18k, which can be reached with plenty of other classes much more easily.

I do generally agree that Warrior needs better spells though.

assassin does more dmg than mage wtf. meteor takes a couple seconds to hit, while assassins got fuckin melee

Yeah, Smoke Bomb alone contributes 2k dps on a decent build, in addition to another 6k to 7k from, say, 3x Spin Attack per mana cycle, plus melee.

 

-no agi, negating any hopes and dreams of being tankier than warrior

Because from what i know
0 def 0 agi warrior > 150 def 0 agi archer in tankiness (not survivability though)

issue with divzer is that you have to play safely in order to survive, and that sort of takes away from your dps, especially in a war.

 

150 Def Archer takes 40.8% resistance, 0 Def Warrior takes 40% with Warscream. So not quite, but so trivial it doesn't matter.

 

But warrior is supposed to be a tank and archer is supposed to be a lot higher damage so that makes sense ngl

Like I said, I don't play assasain but already I would revise the list to be 1st/2nd archer and assasain, 2nd/3rd mage, and obv 4th warrior

 

Warrior still has a place in my heart because it was the first class I ever picked. I just wanted to bash shit with my shovel. Yall bully warrior too much :(

 

I main warrior too, it’s just not up to par with other classes. I don’t know if either a rework is needed or just overall weapon or spell buffs.
Here’s a little phrase that demonstrates it:

Warrior: look at the cool stuff I can do, plus defense

Every other class: does literally everything better (except defense)

 

Warrior best class (imo) spamming charge at a high building/something feels like flying just pressing RRR, RRR, RRR out of mana then land safely come on! Can archer escape mid-air?! Sure mage can make some great teleports behind memes. Assassin jeez idk what to say uh anime memes. I really don't care how much damage warrior does it's just satisfying to see mobs be uppercutted in the air and bashing the ground into a blocky ring. That's what makes it cool.

warrior is CERTAINLY not the best class. but spamming charge is incredibly broken, especially if you teleport a lot like me (you quite literally fly).

I do agree warrior definitely feels weaker than other classes, especially without using mythics. However I still like playing warrior not just because it was my first class but because it just feels fun to play. Warriors can tank damage efficiently unlike my other classes which struggle with damage issues, constantly needing to heal and such. And the build I have on my main warrior class just works well.

That's just my opinion, but in terms of spells warrior suffers more since they are unable to deal heavy dps or freeze enemies with them. That's most likely why people consider it the worst class, because its spells just aren't up to par with the other 3 classes.
