Best Place To Level For A Lvl 16 Mage?

I'm trying to get my mage to level 21, to unlock meteor. Any suggestions on good grinding spots for my level?

Pigman Ravines is a good one. Quests help greatly with leveling, so there is that - especially on a first playthrough, I strongly recommend doing every quest (for the miniquests though, mainly on an as-needed basis if you're grinding there anyway).

There is a handy grinding spot right outside Detlas, beside the Black Road on the way to the Savannah with lvl 12 mobs. It works amazingly until you hit lvl 20

 

Once you hit level 20 do the Grave Digger quest. It unlocks one of the best early-game grinding spots, Saints Row. I used that spot and went from level 20 to 36 in no time.
