Jeweling 4/4 Mana Regen

Yes, I know someone posted 3/4 Mana Regen a while back but I found this that no one posted.



I don't know what's worse: the fact that effectiveness modifiers will allow shit like this or that this has usable durability

Alternatively swap 1 eye and the Nose Ring to Naval Stone to get 2/4 MR with the spell damage drawback mitigated

 

I've just spent over 30 minutes trying to improve your recipe.
I'm afraid I agree with all of your choices.
It's such a simple recipe too. ;_;

Unicorn Horn + 2 Borange Fluff is, imo, somewhat of an elegant way of boosting items with only 1 of an ID up to 2

And it works on every profession though for others there is probably a more efficient method

 

Is it worth though?

I hope the IM removes spell damage from Eye of the Beast.

It just makes no sense if you ask me. You can get way too much spell damage by flipping it and its not good for the actual mana, yet it is the only mana regen jeweling ingredient.

They should really do something about it or just add a new mana regen ingredient for jeweling soon.

 

I wouldn't say flipping Eye of the Beast is particularly useful, but it does have maybe a little too much negative spell damage, given how it's pretty much overrun by the majority of other mana regen items. There might be a way to use Major's Badge to get something out of it.

 

I'm aware that the -spell damage makes this not practical, I just wanted to demonstrate Unicorn Horn + 2 Borange Fluff. Also, the fact I can get this at all is probably something to be brought to attention

(idk how to get necklaces and bracelets with these stats in the build as well as the rings, but just imagine how amazing that'd be with the other accessories as spell damage accessories, or a build that's got more thought put into it than 10 minutes of searching under the 'mana steal' tag.)

yields 84% spell damage, -6/4 MR, 3% to 5% walk speed, -5% to -4% Melee Damage, and -296 durability

The lesson? Do not underestimate Obelisk Core

 

That recipe was just a quickie with no real thought put into it, hence the 'food for thought:'. So my bubble hasn't been bursted yet.
Also, you forgot about the xp and loot bonus.

Really great recipe, though. My head continues to aim downward.

Eh... it's really good but I definitely wouldn't call it OP. It's quite powerful with pretty good mana, but also has no Def/Agi.

 

Fair enough, but I’m not the best buildmaker, I’m sure someone could make a build with more survivability.

Also, rage (the power special), albeit risky, adds A LOT of damage, so there’s that.
