Guide How To Do Li

After my man @Electrolysis' post got old I feel like after 1.18 no one knows how to do a team LI run anymore.
Just 5 minutes ago I died from running LI with @InfernoWraith (none of his fault) and his GUILDMATE.

Let me explain: We were a 3 man trio (already enough) and we met 2 other people. Normally me and Inferno would just let em go first or we switch servers, but his guildmate decided that he wants to team up with them.

And since Inferno couldn't leave him alone, he had to go. I can't solo cybel, so I had to follow.

Conclusion: At death I didn't get the token, then I died at CoW since I didn't have that many pots.

I need to set rules for team LI runs here:

• Max. players with your run are 3. (including yourself)
• Buy defense pots and intel pots.
• Buy LVL 100 health pots.
• DO NOT MIX UP WITH OTHERS RUNNING LI TOO.

Now the bosses.
For mummyboard get a mage to ice snake it then get an archer and others to spell spam it.
For virus doctor you need to kill him AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. The parasites will kill you off and make the virus doctor killing you way easier.
For corkus accipients all I can offer is just spell spam and heal.
For Idol finish each form quickly. Even though Idol has low health its multihit deals a shitton of damage.
For Yahya just avoid taking damage. IF YOU ARE A MAGE OR HAVE A MAGE WITH YOU, TELL THEM TO USE HEALTH POTS ON THE JUMP BOOST STAGE. DO NOT USE HEAL, AS IT WILL REMOVE YOUR JUMP BOOST.
For death finish it before the mobs spawn and help them.
For CoW you need to ice snake it. That man walks wayyy to fast. It's multihit deals a ton of damage so do the corrupteds, so kill it quick.
For bob watch out for the swords and finish off him with arrow storm, spin, smoke bomb, meteor and arrow bombs.
For cybel just don't head for the plates and the cores, they deal a ton of damage. Stages 2&4 are self-destruct stages.
And for doctor legendary just head up close range.

There you have it! Took me 10 minutes, but that's way less than teammates not knowing how to do LI.

 

yeah with skill point pots, basically everything is easy, its almost like the game is spoonfeeding you.
Edit: These should be common knowledge to everyone, its just
1). Stun/Freeze the boss
2). Kill boss fast
3). Run from boss
not to mention that there are several flaws in this:
1). Mechocorrupter legit deals no damage, either you have shitty defenses against some elements, it should not be felt at all, to me, it deals 20-30 per hit, and i do LI with a lament
2). Death Metal spawns with all the bosses next to him, you shouldve caught this earlier when doing LI.
Overall, this thread just seems extremely rushed and provides little to no actual information other than “Run”, “Kill” or “Stun”

Stat pots are usually used for survivability.
Def/Agi pot is fine unless you are not using proper build.

Ice snake is for slowing down. Less meaningful for ranged bosses unless you are blocking projectile(meh)/dealing poison damage.
Teleport is better idea if you wanted to stun boss.

Not sure if this guide is based only for party, but running into mummy directly isn't good idea.
Mummy has the flamethrower spam, which is deadly for some builds with low health or less agility. Try to fall back when it is trying to cast spell.

Deadly meteor spell on elf form

I don't think people die usually by multihit from idol but flamethrower/charge stack/heavy teleport..

Everyone knows it, but still many people dies.

On passage phase, ye, ice snake spam might work, but try to add some blindness to boss to make sure not to die (Pull spell)

On temple phase, hide behind the pillars, and target some Shaymin heads nearby.
fine with mage ok then

On swamp phase, go south.
(Ice snake spam works but Yahyabot has heavy teleport)

On meteor phase, remember that you can kill the mobs there.
And

+ spin attack also removes it.

Your jump boost duration equals the timer of that phase. Just random information.

They spawn almost at the same time with the Death Metal. Not sure if it's that troublesome for pot abusers, but if you need, kill Antivirus and Wired Beast first. (Heavy charge makes it hard just like the original ToA)

All you need to avoid is the multihit from Death Metal, and burst attack from second phase.

That's.... REALLY bad idea.
Doctor Legendary is known for the deadly flamethrower 'spam', even with the high agility, it's dangerous.
Second phase includes multihit, which is hurtful.
Third phase includes deadly meteor.

Overall, unless you are going with the ultimate pot spamming, make the distance and try to see when to attack.



There's tons of LI guides on forum.
But there's too many unexpected moments on LI, so I think letting them learn themselves is the better idea.

Defense warrior changes might have been after that point, so there is that. Nice thread though.

(For archer at least (idk about other classes), I disagree about killing bosses vs. Death Metal since at least two of them can often oneshot. With Arrow Storm and a good spell build, you can kill all the bosses and usually get in 200k to 300k damage on Death Metal before any of the bosses respawn. If Wired Beast or Antivirus respawn I'd recommend killing them asap so they don't charge you while you're focused on Death Metal, for the others if you're close enough to beating Death Metal I'd ignore them).

1. Get Items
2. Buy Skill Pots
3. Chug Skill Pots
4. Don't be stupid
5. Win

On a more serious note, Skill Pots can bring most sub par builds to a level where taking down what would otherwise be extremely hard or even impossible bosses in single combat. So if you are really desperate to take on LI and have a couple le laying around just gather a decentish build with some neutral damage and some good defense and chug away.

 

I wont comment on the cluster fuck that happened yesterday, but suffice to say that it was a clusterfuck after Death Metal, because all of them were Premium classes so particles were flying around like candy. I couldn't see anything, and had to use a few HP pots.

Here's a few guides

The amount of players should be 3(Ideally, because if there are more, not all of them may get the token, and that's just not fair)
If there are other people, and you're already 3, please switch servers. Also check if all of your teammates make it through in the in-between-room.(Something I should have done)
There's no need to buy Defence, and Intel pots if your build is good. Please also have the Amulet of Rejuvanation if your necklace is not an SP item that your build depends on in which case, please dont use because the results are not pretty( I know since I did that, because Im a fool)
Bring sufficient HP pots, since you may get unlucky, lag out, agility may not proc etc etc(You get the idea)


Now for the boss guides.(I'm an Assassin so I don't know about other classes)

Mummyboard-Easy enough, just do your standard damage rotation, if he uses a spell, multihit to cancel his spell

Virus Doctor-See above. If you're build is good, you'll end up killing the boss before the ads become an issue

Corkus Accipients-Watch for the Elf Form, and the Villager form. The elf form is the most dangerous, as it can teleport, throw meteors and most annoying of all-HEAL. Kill as fast as possible, and move on. Only challenge is Elf Form

Idol-Bring a secondary weapon, watch out for forms 1,2,5 as they are the most deadly. Form 1 has Flame, 2 has meteor and pull, and 5 charges around like a headless kamikaze.

Yahya-No clue, pray to RNJesus, that he decides to spare you. He's so difficult I wonder if he keeps Qira, and Orange Cybel as pets

Death Metal-Easy boss, but his multihit hits hard. It'll leave you reeling. 2nd form has a shotgun of ranged attacks, hurts a lot but easy to dodge if you keep spamming spin attack. Another tip is multihit when he casts a spell so multihit is cast in the air and not at you.

Corrupter of Worlds-Easy, standard damge rotation, dont let him get close to you

Robob- Only issue is the Flame Sword, other bits are easy. Bring a water weapon, and kill it fast. Water Sword is next. Others are easy. He's similar to Villager form of Corkus Accipients, but more annoying since he has higher elemental def, and hits harder.

Cybel- Well here's the crown of shitcakes. Lets start of by saying this fight has more RNG than actual skill requirements. If you get 1 shotted, take a deep breath, and acknowledge that it happens. It aint pretty but we can't do shit. Forms 1,3 are easy. You shouldn't die unless you get unlucky in which case see above sentence. Forms 2,4,5 are pure bullshit. Forms 2 and 4 since he's supposed to explode, but sometimes can take upwards of 5 minutes. Form 5 has a super charge that basically YEETS you out of the arena at any time of his choosing. If that happens, just run to the middle and vanish. Its your best hope to survive. Or he does land near you, hope that agility procs. Also the Disintegrator Cores aren't so deadly, you have a few seconds before they explode. Hit vanish to escape, and you should be ok. Also when they start to pull, hit Vanish, immediately and that should stop it

Dr Legendary- Form 1- SPAM BOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII( He spams flamethrower constantly, run away immediately when you see the orange particles, cos it hits hard)
Forms 2-3-Are less annoying since you don't have to deal with Flamethrower. It's a good boss that throws Charges nad such, just bring a Thunder/Earth weapon, and its easy.

After doing dr.legendary 6 times because I didn't get the token, I can say it did work when i ran up to him. (olinus and ernest did it with me)

And gotta agree, skill pots strong they allow my water-earth 50% unique armour nepta floodbringer mage to beat orange wybel with a party. That should probs be impossible.
And you could probs solo LI with spider build + skill pots since skill pots are so strong and you get some actual stats with that
