Now ive heard time and time again " mods don’t lock/delete your posts because they’re criticism, they lock your posts because they’re either low-effort or unnecessarily agressive"(actual quote). which yea ok in a normal world that would be the case. But in recent days.. (or weeks since i was banned for a week lol) ive seen posts that violate the very same rules my posts violated, yet it wasn't locked.

the post in question was https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/how-to-dye-armour.244641/#post-3010127
this post had only 2 sentences and had no use. It was literally a clickbait post. And while the 10char rule says "saying 10char violates the 10char rule" but i feel it's more like if you make a post that's only 1-2 sentences since that's mostly how its used by mods. But either way this post adds about as much discussion to the forums as his post by me does https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/how-to-dye-armour.244641/#post-3010127
So why was my post locked but the post that was almost exactly the same as mine wasn't? Because mine was negative towards the server. Not only do they put out EA levels of responses like "we put in over 10k lines of code so we cant be criticised" and an ultimately super biased response by salted that was picked apart by people more than jps response about lines of code and how that means we shouldnt criticise them. Im beginning to feel as if maybe just a teeeny bit that this server is corrupt as shit. They lock and delete all threads that break the 10char and useless content rule while criticising the server but keep threads that break the same rules but don't criticise the server. And trust me im certainly not the first person to point this out. @Nepeta Dijon did the exact same thing and was banned same as i was. Even posts in the right channel get locked and deleted. I've made a shitpost on dern content in VIP plaza that i was told was deleted. I couldn't find it when looking through my previous postings list. Same thing with a profile comment i made. Im almost positive this will get locked too

oh also this is in the right channel soooo idk if locking is an option
obviously doesnt break the 10char rule
its not useless content as it starts a discussion about the mods activities
    checkmate athiests

A post can't get locked if there's no one to lock it. If a mod doesn't randomly stumble upon one, or no one bothers to report it, there won't be anyone to lock it. Simple as that. If a thread is about a sensitive or controversial topic such as yours often tend to be, it's significantly likelier that someone will report it. You should also note, that while the example you provided is indeed a clear shitpost, the length of a thread doesn't alone dictate whether it's against the guidelines or not. As for your seemingly deleted thread, if you feel like there wasn't an actual valid reason for it to be deleted, refer to the bottom part of this post v

Ya know, it's kind of funny how you two are the only ones who feel injusticed, are the only ones who go against the system in a harmful way, and are the only ones who get punished for it. Almost as if there was a link between those 3 things. Or, maybe it's just me.

Look, it's completely fine and acceptable to criticize the game, the mods, or anything else as you please, as long as you provide actual merit for your words. Taking things out of context for the sole reason of making things look worse than they are, or attacking people who disagree with your opinions are both good example of what meriting your words is not. These are things you should really take into consideration, if for whatever reason you choose to do it publicly, like you often do.

If you want to have actual effect on these things though, it'd be much more effective to calmly handle it in private messages with people who can do something about it, instead of publicly flaming the wrong people. It feels like you have an underlying assumption, that all staff is corrupt or that they're all plotting against you together, when in reality they're all individuals who react to different things differently. Individuals who can by themselves be corrupt. In case you ever witness one acting out of the code and actually want to do something about it, just contact @Salkasm as the rules state. Not anyone else. Not even the other mods, if you feel like they're the culprits. Publicly flaming people can only drive your case backwards.

Even I've experienced this kind of behaviour from one of the mods. ONE. And the only reason why it's happened is because I've been too lazy to bother reporting it. Not because the mods are working against me. Your actions really matter, and you could use that fact to make the community a better place for not only you, but everyone else aswell. Alternatively, you can keep making threads relating to this topic, and do the exact opposite. Up to you, really.

We are not only ones that go against things that we belive the developers are doing wrong.

One another note haven't you went agianst a system in a "harmful way" once?

We're not being toxic, we're being slightly mean. Same as you on a few posts.

I would agrue that closing and deleting threads isn't a productive way of conducting conversation either. We almost never get solid responses. We either get silenced or told "you're wrong becaouse you're mean".

We feel that even if we call out these mods privaetly nothing will get done, as opposed to calling them out publicly so that we can share our piee of mind with the community to hopefully get more people intrested in our points of view.

I've TRIED talking to mods in private PM's, the thing is they often don't respond or don't want to take into account any of my views, and disagree with almost everything I say. I'm not forcing them to agree on EVERYTHINg, but they certainly don't have it in mind to change their mind. I on the other hand have changed my mind on various topics and I must admit that @FluxifiedGod1 attitude towards developers often leans toward agressive. That being said I still agree with his caouse.
