    Anyhow.
On the subject of the new/recent Professions Update, I am curious about everyone's take on it, by taking I mean do you level it with your level or level it after a certain pause in progress? I simply enjoy this tedious gameplay for no apparent reason until it DOES get to me.
However, the way I work my professions is similar to that suggested above, I work on them as I raise my combat level as well. I know this isn't necessarily bad maybe just more of a time wasting way of things but is it better to wait for somewhere in late-game or end-game to start these professions? I inspect many players in Detlas who barely touch their professions possibly due to that of a separate class from their mains but either way, is it better to wait or to level it as you go?

Well, if you use the items from the professions, you can’t use them if you are way over their level.
So it boils down to this:
If you want to use them before level 100, level combat along with professions. You get free gear and consumables!
If you only want the endgame items, level in endgame.

Usually what I tend to do is level them up as I go up in combat levels. I've noticed that the next tier of crafting for a profession is usually 10 levels above the previous tier so what I do is level my combat level to, for example, 40 and then take a small break from combat leveling to raise my professions to level 40 as well, then back to questing to combat level 50 which I then go back and raise my professions to 50 and so forth. So I just continuously alternate leveling my combat level and my profession levels which allows me to keep up my professions without focusing on them every combat level (Only exception is level 100 above but there's no benefits for leveling professions past 100 anyway).

It's more efficient to wait. Whether you consider it more fun, depends. Personally, I'm leveling professions on my lvl 103, in tandem with a second playthrough.

You'd want to wait so that you can get all the tiers of tools from dungeons. I played a little of the update, and I didn't have all the tools, which meant finding gaurdians to get keys and then run the dungeons. I've only got T3 or T4 on a few of my tools so far, but I'm also slow. The most tedious part is clicking nodes IMO.

So, what I've gathered by reading is that it's efficient to more or less wait at a certain point or pause during the playthrough. Preferably as other people have above stated, is to wait for the tools at levels like Level 5, 15, 25, making efficiency over new materials overall wisely timed.
Here's my conclusion: the current commentary is mixed yet more lenient towards waiting (whether it be a couple 10-20 levels or till fully level 100) to level professions as they are. I do have a bias towards having a bit of "free time" from combat and more of professions when there is a pause in gameplay.

I apologize but I'd like to ask one more question: is it wise to bother doing professions once more on a different class? To me, it feels tedious yet so you will not have to hassle with that of switching classes to craft for another. I'm fairly sure many will say no due to having a pre-existing maxed professions class. That is all. Thank you.

Someone will want the max level cap, but currently you don't need to have the crafting requirements associated with creating the item to wield it. Therefore, no, you should only get 1 class to max level in all or focus each of your slots on a single profession? Either way works, but you don't need more.

Personally I see no point in doing professions on more than one class (I'm not the type that would go for all classes max level just for fun).

Regarding waiting, you gain extra resource capacity with combat levels in addition to gathering profession levels, so there's that. You also have access to better walk speed builds and such, plus the ability to do things like cut Willow (woodcutting lvl 20) in Olux Swamp. If you're not planning on seriously using all four gathering professions, I would still recommend leveling up the remainder to around level 20 or so - it takes barely 30 minutes each, and gains you some extra capacity.
