Hey I want to install forge but when I click on it, it says "how to open the .jar file?". I figured out that I have no Java so I downloaded the latest version 1.0.8 update 201. The problem here is, when I install java, there is a box with no dialog or anything, just a white window. I installed older versions, and they worked but forge said:
"This Application Requires A Java Runtime Environment 1.8.0"

    Things I tried:
    1. restart
    2. deactivating anti-aliasing in the video card driver
    3. checking java for the compatibility
    4. downloaded java offline&online version several times
    5. downloaded java older version
    6. downloaded java versions from different platforms

Anyone has a fix? I searched through the internet and tried everything but nothing worked :(
