    Hi all,

This thread serves to showcase small details and relatively hidden or not well-known map reworks, as well as showcase big changes as a whole. Hundreds of hours have been poured into updating builds alone and more have yet to come. Bigger reworks aside, here we'll be exploring some cool new areas that you may (or may not) have missed.

To begin, the tutorial got a massive rework. Buildwise and mechanics-wise, for 1.18. No doubt its now one of the most beautiful areas in the game.

Bremminglar now looks more aesthetically pleasing, due to the addition of small gardens throughout the village, shrubbery, rocks, ponds, and the like.

Bear Zoo received a complete rework, from terrain to houses to the bear's cave itself. In my own honest opinion it is now the best-looking island in the game.

Half Moon Island has also received a 100% rework. Old shipwrecks and crumbling towers surround this new island of mystery, its many ancient temples and caves awaiting for you to explore...

Oh and we also redid like 90% of all the boats in the map (ft. new Legendary Island statues!)

The immediate surroundings of Fallen Factory were retextured to emphasise the industrial destructive force of all the machinery coming out from the megafactory. The ground is now devoid of grass and plant life.

The Zombie Dungeon's Coliseum received an upgrade! Cheers to the new building era of not spamming stone slabs on every structure.

Nemract Cathedral has now been alleviated to a more gothic and grander church. Alongside it lies the new Saint's Row, its grind spot lying amongst numerous graves and mausoleums.

Gelibord! This really ugly town has since been redone into a slightly less uglier town. The boardwalks have been vastly improved and the roofs have been tidied up. Overall, the town is much more cleaner and aesthetically pleasing to look at.

You may have not noticed while travelling, but we pretty much removed all of the random carpets lying in the middle of paths throughout the entire map. Here's a path beside Elkurn for example.

After we eradicated slab spam structures from the planet we realised we could eradicate randomised terrain palettes too. Here's the new Twain mansion valley for example. The crevices in the cliffs are now darker and flow more smoothly, blending in well with surrounding areas.

Dead Island now has a cool new church and angel statue. Alive Island has them as well.

New dwarven-styled gates mark the entrance from Lake Gylia to CoTL.

Pirate Bay now features new big beaches and paths. Pirates gotta hide their treasure somewhere, right?

Tree Villagers have relocated their homes from the branches to the ground. Less trees aside, the bowl merchant still kept his job and the villagers now live in bigger and more beautiful homes ;D

Relos has an actual entrance now. Accessibility was an issue before as you had to climb or use a movement spell to get onto the boardwalk.

The new coastline in all its glory! We thoroughly reworked the whole coastline starting from Katoa Ranch all the way to Nemract, and a few places beyond that to Pirate Bay. The coast now features: tide pools, actual evidence of erosion from waves, corals, easy access to Sayrr's boat, kelp, and plenty of fishing spots!

Can't end this thread without a Jungle and Dernel Jungle before-afters. They're the most extensively revamped regions after all!

    Hope you enjoyed!

when the fallen factory door opens, some surrounding wasteland becomes grass
I think that should be fixed

Also, good job build team! Nice to see the lack of areas to build isn't slowing you down. You really do need more Gms to keep up with the build team don't you?

Just a question. Was building the new coastline purely an aesthetic thing or are you guys trying to say that the ocean was disappearing?

    well,
Exit the Seaskipper, and follow the coastline into the bay up to the temple with a lot of witches in it. At the top (or something like that), there's a pressure plate that you have to weigh down with an item. Then, you run out of the temple and into the cave near the seaskipper. What was previously blocked by a door is now open, and you can keep going down to fight the Death Oni, which drops the Oni Helm, a nice little hybrid helmet.

    goodbye

I wish Wynncraft had a vast underground cave system, full of all of the different mining resources, but like a giant maze of caves under the map containing mobs, mini bosses, and different areas would be SO COOL and fun to explore
