How long did it take?

 

Really cool!

You know, for some reason, a server that's based around a city (or cities) inhabited by players, and the politics within, has always been of intrest to me. Thus, I love city builds because they just make me think of all the possiblities.

 

the server have been up for 6 months, so about that duration, we still have waaaaay bigger plans though, so its no where near finished.

Also, be sure to add more secret passageways, neat details, black markets, lore, and so on. Everyone knows there are ten bizillon secret passageways and layers in the sewers. Every city was built on top of ancient ruins that go miles deep, that's common knowledge!

Though if the "discord name" means I have to use a mic, I probably won't dare to join. I don't have a mic. Nor do I want to.

 

we have a sewers project going on right now, and no, u dont have to use voice chat, we barely even use it ourselves

sorry, I was barely online after the halfway point because of my switch, but I'll probably be back more often.

 

i mean i wouldn't say we're restricted to live in the city or anything. we're kinda all just in the area though because that's the project we're currently working on. i don't even live in the housing district and live on the southwest edge of the town because that's where I normally work.

 

u made it sound like u are drawing a parallel to real life work and u are living there for less travelling time to your job lol

 

I mean I AM working on the poppy farm haha

 

That's actually what I meant: trying to replicate a real life city in minecraft, and make it work
