    Back in the oldest of days before gavel came out (the good ol days) I had around 20-30ms and I was like 1k-1.5k or something km away from the host and I'm a bit on the poorer side of stuff so I could see this guy having 10ms

    oh yea no thats how i died to the final boss of dwarves and doguns and also the gladiator in the kings library. an enemy teleported because of a lag spike and hit me for 4000 damage because the lag was long enough to let them hit me twice. and the boss's attack particle didnt register so i was being hit by air lol

    Dude you have no idea how much this dwarves and doguns quest is pissing me off. The lag of it is super annoying trying to fight is impossible it seems especially since I have a poor build, then it absolutely screws you over when you die cause you spawn all the way in ternaves which is so frustrating I've just rage quit twice cause of it

    OH MY GOD DONT EVEN MENTION THE SPAWNINg
    I GOT TO THE FINAL STAGE AND THE 2 ENEMIES WITH 500K HP SWARMED ME ALONG WITH THE BLOOD THAT DOES 2000 EACH HIT AND I SPAWNED BACK IN FUCKING TERNAVES OH MY LORD

    there are hundreds of threads on the respawn locations and after like 13 updates the devs have done nothing about it

    manual memory allocation is easy --> malloc()
    but yeah c++ doesnt do everything automagically for you

    I'm sure they've looked into the issue and considered solutions. Perhaps some are in the works but need a bit more time to perfect. Trust in the lords JP and Salted.

    Hey, you stole my idea!

    For real though, I have been experiencing lag, but not a lot of usual lag, mostly horse lag. I get on my horse but this strange thing happens where I go forward 10 blacks, then it teleports me back, then i go forward and it teleports me back... kinda defeats the purpose of spending so much on a max horse if half the time it doesn't even work (i don't get this as often on chestnut and other horses)

    Jeez thats BULLSH*T! If wynncraft WOULDNT be well optimized, You LITERALLY couldnt play the game... YOu know what the normal entity limit is in minecraft? Wynncraft has pushed the limits and handled so many of these, it IS indeed amazing that it works, relatively laggless...

    This seems to be a continuing problem with horses. I've only tested with a dungeon black horse, but it seems to happen most often when going up slopes on corner slabs.

    I believe horse lag is pretty common, considering how fast the dev team has managed to make them. However that's a given and sort of something that minecraft, the game itself has a problem with I think. What I'm talking about when it comes to lag is realistically just the battling.

    Especially in those really close moments when you're fighting a boss and you pop a health potion, then the NPC's kind of stop moving or starts moving like half a block a second. That's when you start going uh oh because all you can do is helplessly wander around and hope that you're not dead when you or the server catches back up.
    The worst moments is when you are going and throwing spells around and they kind of just hit the brakes, your spells start moving at about a fraction of the speed they normally do; the game sound starts going wack, and the worst part is you'll take a whopping 5k damage all while the npc was standing still for you. IT's that kind of lag that really makes you angry. At who to be angry at that point is uncertain. All I know is it made me mad enough to make a post about it.

    Also when you die in a quest or whatever somewhere in gavel (rodoroc) and then spawn in ternaves when you are already low on soul points or whatever, that really just takes the cake you know.

    Since making this post however, I have noticed where the lag really is non-existent. All I have to say to that is bravo, because it really feels fluid and satisfying to fight or even just run around the game when you aren't being thrown around like a single byte in a world full of gigabytes and terabytes.

    to end this off I think for me, I enjoy Wynncraft so much so that even after probably 6 or 7 years of it existing, back when we just used shovels and sticks; I've always come back and what I'm trying to convey with this topic is that I feel obligated to report issues that me and others might have in hopes to solve it. (Also I was not able to get a video up, because go figure when I go to record, I can't seem to get that mind numbing lag :P)

    Yeah no, I think Wynncraft is amazing too, but I think they have too many mechanics that cause lag, and they don't use those mechanics scarcely. Fallen factory is an awesome dungeon, my favorite in fact, but it's so ridiculously laggy with the spinning cogs. All of them spin, even the ones you don't use for the parkour, and I'm pretty sure the cogs on the levels below and above you spin as well.

    uhh.. yeah, you still could play the game. A game I play pretty commonly is Paladins and the game is literally a dumpster fire in terms of optimization but it is playable at least. Yeah, Wynn's pretty neat in terms of mechanics, but I'm getting worse frames on Wynn sometimes than I do on Overwatch, which shouldn't even be comparable

    gosh why doesn't mojang just recode minecraft in scratch life would be so much better smh

    Yeah well i agree that minecraft optimalization is trash, but wynncraft has pushed these limits, and actually made the server run better, than without their magic. I just say if they wouldnt optimize wynncraft as it is now, it would be far worse than anything, and the lag would eat up the server. Simply cuz of the normal entity limit in minecraft.

    for me the only laggy bit is when i use spin attack and it slows down a lot but thats it other than that it is ok
