Any Profession What Is The Point Of Pride Of The Heights?

Assuming it's still 100% and -90 durability, as far as I can tell it's literally only useful for reducing durability costs on doubled Incremental Mapping Module or Mega Fern. I can't see any other uses for it, since buffing anything else with it just means you're using more durability when you could just use two of them. It doesn't even have uses with other effectiveness ingredients, since Eye of the Beast is the only one with a non-effectiveness purpose and it's jeweling only. For an endgame 3-star ingredient, it just seems really weak.

 

well, it can replace other potentially rare ingredients that you might have trouble finding

Other lower ingredient effectiveness boosters don't compare to the single item boost that it provides. I agree that it doesn't make sense to have a -effectiveness though. I think the +100% should just clone the item directly adjacent and be a "duplicate my other rare ingredient" item and it shouldn't have the -90 removed, or the item be reworked in all. I actually thought about using pride in a bow until you pointed this out btw. Nice thread.

 

i use it in conjunction with decaying heart because the -100% doesnt effect the 100% from pride

 

Pride got buffed now it gives +130% effectiveness

Yes, but now it has uses in pushing items past their previous limits.
