Okay, perhaps I did underestimate them a bit, especially with the fact that they know some pretty dratty magic skills.

With my sharp, pointy plank of wood, probably not ideal as a substitute weapon at all, I attempt to Starlight Rush Thief 2(A), who just stole my staff again.

She sighs and asks, “Do you know why there’s an aura around your group...?”

(She’s talking about how she feels a strong aura around your group and felt the same aura coming from the Empire State Building earlier).

Both Rose and Ariane cross the street and chase after the two thieves. However, just as the two of you are about to jump on Thief 2(A), Thief 3(A) summons a Pink Shard with a clock symbol embedded in it and magic tendrils suddenly severely slow down the movements and speed of Ariane and Rose. Thief 2(A) then creates a fire wall separating them from the two of you while also creating a dense smoky haze probably really fangerous to walk in.

Suddenly, three Aqua Shards appear and a huge slab of water comes down upon the fire.

A young teenager about 14 ish and also holding a wooden staff appears behind the two of you.

He’s white, but not super super white. He has black hair and brown eyes and he’s about 5ft6in.

The kid looks over at the two of you before tossing his staff over to Rose.

“Take it for now, I don’t need it to cast magic,” the kid says before summoning in a Blue and Yellow shard of his own and swapping the positions of Thief 3(A) with a plastic bag that was on the ground about a couple yards in front of Ariane and Rose.

This time, splitting to the right from my group, I run to Thief 3(A) and starlight rush him with the staff, beating him down to knock him out.
