Im A Vet On Wynn If I Upgrade My Rank Will I Lose The Little [vet] Tag?

I was thinking about buying hero. im a vip with the vet tag because of when i had vip
so now i wonder
if i upgrade to hero will i lose my Vet rank?

Essentially, if you had a rank before August 2014, you will have the 'vet' tag no matter the rank you have now.
