I agree with mythics being a bad decision to add into the game. It’s such a luck based way to get a mythic, and one person with 1k lootchests could fine multiple but one with 5k could none. It discourages hard work and it’s why I believe mythics should’ve been never made at all or implemented in a different way. Now this is really a really hard prototype on how mythics could be implemented, so don’t take this plan very seriously, but I think mythics should be granted based on a set amount of lootchests or any progression system. I’m not only going to say lootchests as even though that’s better it still restricts the player to grind the shit out of lootchests even if they find it incredibly boring. Let’s say for example at 1k lootchets you are guaranteed to find a mythic. This plan does not discourage hard work, and is not luck based but more grinded base. The chance of getting a mythic is still there. There are obvious flaws to this plan, as grinding in itself is what a more casual player like I would not like to do. But instead of grinding in mayber the near or far future of getting a mythic, you are still working toward a goal instead of working toward nothing.

A voluntary and committed team can’t produce a game of the standards of a Triple A game with hundreds of paid developers behind it. Shocking!

 

I'm not asking for a reply detailing all of RTD. I understand they're volunteers, but I want someone to respond with more than "We increased the level cap and everyone got upset /closed". Is that really too hard to ask for? We could use more communication going forward. Even just a 'here's why we've been quiet' would be nice.
