Was Altar Of Sanctification Changed?

So I was trying to get all the discoveries on my warrior and I wanted to get into the Altar of Sanctification. The wiki currently says to go to Skien’s island, find a code and get a badge to return to the altar. So I do that and to right click it with the badge. It doesn’t work. So I tried all the usual things like dropping it and picking it up again, /class, /server, reloading Minecraft, etc. None of this worked. Is the altar glitched or was it changed? I can’t seem to figure it out.

 

Somebody else spoke of this problem in the discord so it may be bugged at the moment.

 

Its probably bugged because the badge is untradeable.

I can't belive that HERO beta was up for a month and there are still a lot of bugs that haven't been fixe. It pretty much the same as Fallout 76 beta.

 

What did you test during the Beta?

 

Mainly gathering and crafting mechanics. I didn't do much becouse i was never on while they were giving people levels.

 

Why I wanted update to be delayed

 

Yeah no this wasn't anywhere near Fallout 76. The game's gameplay wasn't horribly compromised. Just bugs related to quests, discoveries, etc, no massive gameplay bugs.

I do agree that they could've waited a little longer to release the update to really iron out the bugs, but I think they've stated that sometimes bugs that didn't exist before will just appear when they push the update to the actual server. It's just Minecraft being Minecraft.

 

What about some dungeons not working? That's pretty important gameplay wise since you needed to do them in order to buy higher level tools.

 

I was able to run through all of them. the only ones that were glitched for me were (C)IB and (C)SST. The former of which just took like 1 extra minute to get the token collector to work, the latter of which WAS pretty frustrating, but still possible. Note that this wasn't a one-time thing, I did each "dungeon" 3-4 times at least (I didn't do CLS, but I did do regular LS).

 

SST falling floor was sometimes broken when I ran it (a bit over a week ago I think), but it worked about half the time. Since the problem was due to chunk loading and they reverted that change, I would think it's fixed now.
