What's your conclusion? Do you wanna get rid of the update or? I think it's good. Now we have an update with a lot of variation in the game and not only doing quests, farming and exploring.

As much as this quote is a meme, I don't think I've ever had to use it this relevantly. These are the small things in the back of my and many others' heads, which are often ignored despite being a considerable issue for Wynn. Genuinely, thanks for bringing them up

One thing I'd like to talk about is the lack of endgame content you're talking about, I think now with the Mh questline we've pretty much filled the lvl gap... Ofc if you've already done everything from lvl 1-100 there won't be content for you but that wouldn't fall at the lack of content area, it's mostly lack of lvl expansion...

 

i dont think staff is rude the community beyond the point of being human. but i agree the way the handled the lv 101 1.18 fiasco was totally unacceptable and even borderline a scam.

 

I agree with the points made in this thread.
To be honest, my only hatred on the new update is that fact I spent like $20 on dungeon bombs and now every single dungeon is broken and those bombs I bought are completely useless.

 

Yeah I agree with this. This community can be really entitled at times but also not really listened to. All major criticisms of the game are often times ignored, or deflected with "We're just volunteers, don't expect much." Yeah, I don't expect much. That doesn't mean I'm not allowed to criticize the game though. There's so many problems that you've mentioned (mythics to name one) that absolutely need to be fixed but will never be because they're afraid of the community being angry for a week. Hell, I own a Mythic, and I can be considered a "rich player" but that's only because I got stupidly lucky.

There's been no response from admins/devs about this update's problems either. Waaaay too grindy. Combat XP grinding is fine because there's multiple ways to go about it and you don't need to do pure grinding. With the professions, you sit in one spot in a menu or you walk from place to place and press a button. Nonstop. For hours. The economy is still going to be hyper-expensive Mythics and cheap Legendaries because very few people will be willing to get to the levels where you could make custom items as powerful as Mythics. Those that will could very easily drip-feed their powerful items and make them just as expensive as Mythics.

The admin's policies on exploits are absolutely unacceptable. Like with the whole rollback because a few people used a bug to get a ton of XP really quick. Why should thousands of other players suffer because a few decided to exploit it? You may say "Well what else are you going to do? They cheated." Yeah. Let them. Just remove the exploit. There's 0 harm in having somebody be level 101 "unfairly." Its 2 extra skill points people.

Only reason I still play is because making/trying out builds is hella fun lol

Though to be fair, I think it's a bit of a stretch to call the entire administration unfair and rigged when it comes to exploits, prior to the 101 debate I don't think there've ever been any major complaints and bug abuse was always clarified and dealt with.

 

Same feelings. Biggest knock on the door was the scam thread thing. (I don't really have a strong opinion on it.)
Note that this doesn't apply to every member of the content team (CT).
My thoughts are that if you're part of the CT, you are a representative of WynnCraft's administration and should therefore be held to some sort of standard.
Even if they are a volunteer, I believe that they should respond with all due respect to the community even if it's not what they want to hear or say because their words have more weight than a normal user.
Despite this, I saw behavior that I wouldn't really associate with part of the CT. This was a first for me.





All of this just seemed immature and unprofessional even for a team of volunteers. The last message was in my opinion weird. The message didn't feel like a solution but rather a personal plea to stop complaining and just take the update. In fact, the message just sounds condescending as a whole. It felt like a "I did all of this work but you guys don't like it but look at all the work I put into it so be happy because look, you can cut every tree". Even the last sentence pushes this idea with jp saying "enjoy the game as I intended for you to do."

 

To be fair, that is just a bug and will be fixed. You should be able to use your dungeon bombs in the future.

 

every single weapon i've seen crafted so far (all of which are stronger or at least same as mythics) went for under a stack, and keep in mind that these are new, meaning that the prices will likely drop as supply increases.
