Jeweling Just Me Or Are All The Good Ingredients Not For Jeweling

I feel like Jeweling doesn’t get any of the good ingredients (i.e. Pride of the Heights). Jeweling needs more appreciation, not everyone wants a giant badass axe or a plate made of the bones of an old titan. I want a flower petal ring :D (that can make me into a god whenever I wear it)

 

Jeweling is the only crafting profession I’m doing right now, and I agree, jeweling ingredients are very hard to come by. I chose jeweling because it has some very good ingredients (Frozen Ghostly Essence, More Pearlescant Jewel, Irisdescent Elytra, etc.) but other than that, there’s a severe lack of ingredients for it, which makes leveling up a pain

 

Jeweling ingredients may not look as flashy as others, but keep in mind that you can wear 4 accessories, meaning you can use all those ingredients 24 times total. (as opposed to using a tailoring ingredient 12 times total).
And we still have some decent ingredients:
- Borange Fluff
- Obelisk Core
- Unicorn Horn
- Native Jadeite
- Ancient Coins (for loot running?)
- Voidston Sample
- Eye of the Beast (you can get 3/4 mana regen with it)
- Ivory Tusk (health regen)
- Mixed Jewel Desposit & Cyclops Eye (earth builds)
- Overheated Processor
- Shiny Mineral Desposit (Potential for accessories with +6 in each skillpoint, but requires insane RNG)

Yes, I totally agree. Jeweling has the least amount of ingredients in the whole game.



I chose to make jeweling my first profession to 100 because I thought it would actually give us some good options. Sure, there are some decent items, but I wish every profession had the same amount of ingredients. It would make it way more fair.

sure, we have have 4 spots for jeweling, but doesn't that mean we should have more options for crafting with ingredients? Jeweling has the smallest amount, and it is needed 4 times, unlike any other profession that only crafts 1-2 items per build

 

Tbh scribing is really annoying, given that im doing scribing and jeweling i think scribing ingredients are harder to come by

 

I have to agree with this, there is barely any low level scribing stuff

 

I never said that jeweling ingredients are bad, it's just that there's barely any of them. My jeweling level is 44 right now, and I decided to take a break from it and try armoring, and it was so much easier to level up from 1-40 with armoring just because of how many more ingredients there are for it

 

The mobs near the nether portal and the mobs under the potions house on the emerald trail (or at least where the potions house used to be) both drop scribing ingredients, if you need to level up

 

The problem is that higher level ingredients level you up faster, so at one point those ingredients stop becoming useful

 

Another problem is that with only 75 ingredients, Jewelers like myself are very limited to the amount of options we can create

 

Ive started je welling too, and sometimes looking at wynndata ingredients can be frustrating

 

Agree, although I expect future updates will likely include more ingredients.

Jeweling is very easy to level compared to scribing in general and late game cooking.

Gold bars that are the currency at rymek are nice.

 

Jeweling ingredients are worse than most ingredients due to the fact that accessories are meant to be weaker than armor or weapons. If they were as powerful it would be like having a second set of armor. Although, I don't see many people making bracelets, probably because bracelets are maybe the best accessory, and most of the accessories seem to be balanced around necklaces or rings.

 

They just cost more materials to make, which is why rings are more common
