I came to the conclusion I did based on two simple principals; supply and demand. The honey isn't rare. By doing a quick loop through the forest you can find a lot. For that reason, there's a high amount of supply. As for demand, it isn't good when people need it (end game) and nobody who has the money to spend on crafting ingredients is in need of good level 8 ingredients, because as I previously said, they're everywhere. I'm guessing the people who said it was op were joking, cause 6 raw regen isn't great unless you're actually level 8.
