Feel Like I'm Being An Idiot - Why Can't I Get Into The Altar Of Sanctification?

I'm at the location but instead of there being a hopper there's an enchanting table? I have the badge but obviously I can't drop it in as there's no hopper. I've just returned to the game so sorry if I've missed something.

 

Try right-clicking the hopper with the badge.

 

I thought he said there was no hopper anywhere

 

That's correct, there's only an enhancing table there. Am I missing something? At the wrong location? I'm at the location on the wiki..

 

You have to right click the table with the badge

 

I'm clicking and nothing

 

The entity that you're supposed to click is an invisible slime mob standing on the enchanting table (that's how these things are triggered). You have to be holding the badge in your hand when you click the altar for it to work. (it's pretty confusing)

 

I'm spamming it and I can hear something opening and closing but I can't figure out where? Where is the entrance supposed to be?

Edit: The sound might be coming from a mob.. this is confusing lmao

 

Perhaps it's bugged, I just did Bovine Barn and Orange Wybel and they worked fine. Has anyone else attempted Altar of Sanctification recently?
