Any Profession How Do I Get Better Ingredients?

So, despite the fact I'm an archer, I've been working to level up weaponsmithing, and after that I think I'll go for scribing or jeweling. So, How does everybody get good ingredients? I've found some decent ones in loot chests and gotten some T2's from Nesaak rare mobs, but nothing for weaponsmithing. I'm a little impatient for rare mobs, but I'm willing to change. Just looking for some strategies.

 

grind and go hunting or loot running. that's kind of it unfortunately

 

Check the global market; just set the filters for your level range and your profession, and check each ingredient that pops up.

 

The Zhight Island Treasure Tour has given me lots of level 40-60 ingredients, or loptrunning in general should help.

 

Didn't they ruin lootrunning with this update?

 

It changed, yea, but it's in no way ruined. People just need to figure out new routes and determine the worth of what they find.
(If anything it's more exciting because of how much more variety ingredients add)

I haven't had a chance to search every inch of any of the old areas yet, although I will do so to CotL once I have time, but the areas I have searched thoroughly (Bantisu Valley for example) have about 30-50% as many T3/T4 chests as they did before.

 

You wait for a while until literally every item is on the market then you buy them.
That's what I'm doing at least (lol).

 

Scrolls do cost too much for use by casual players

 

Exactly...

 

Maybe with reduced quest rewards they will, but in the past I'd say they were perfectly fine.
