Will We Ever Get New Classes?

or even just a class thats like an all rounder
weaker than all of them but can use every single weapon and 1 spell from each

Theoretically possible, but it will probably be quite a while before that happens. That said, the more complex the game gets, the more difficult it becomes to add a new class.

 

But what if it was a class that simply re-uses previous abilities i.e:
Can use every weapon but less effectively
its 4 spells are 1 from each class

 

lets remove every classes parity

 

Why would players play that class at all? It will always be worse than the pure classes, and the bonus of being able to use all weapons doesn't really make you stronger in combat.

I think they won't add any classes, because they've already got the standard RPG set of classes.

Salted said in that Reddit AMA that he does have a few ideas for a new class. However, it's not a priority for the foreseeable future.
