SPOILER My Grievances With The Economy Update

First things first, the title is click bait. I know there are rules on this stuff, but I promise that this isn't a shitpost, so please don't ban me :(

Okay, now for what I actually wanted to talk about that nobody seams to care about; the tree in the tutorial. For years, the button tree was I C O N I C. I don't know how long it's been there, but I don't remember a time when it wasn't there so it's been there for a long time.

When they announced the rework of the tutorial, I think there were two groups of people; those who thought the tree would be lost, and those who believed in the trees strength. In the latter, there were a few who hoped and dreamed of a day where the button was no more, and alas, the day has come. We must rejoice!

This might look like a joke, but I swear it isn't. They say first impressions are the most important, and the tutorial was one of the best first impressions I've ever seen. I spoke a lot about the tree and how happy I am to see it updated, but the same reason applies to the rest of the tutorial. Every part about it was fun and engaging, but more importantly, it was gorgeous. I've never seen an environment so natural and bright in Minecraft. Since I have class in a few min, I'm not able to play right now, so I can't really speak about the rest of the builds, but from what I've seen so far (just the tutorial) this is the best update so far.

I'm sure I'll write more when I've seen more of the the new world. but I'm psyched to see everything else Wynn has to offer!

Also, after a brief detour, I guess we're back on the road to Dern!

 

Man it's a button, it was not even there in the first tutorial area. False nostalagia. DISAPPEAR !

There is no tree. It's just a figment of your imagination because you haven't yet processed the grief of losing the button tree. It's time for you to let it go. It's not your fault.

tmw even if you cut the tree before the dialogue about the bridge it doesnt fall because the game is gonna force you to look at dialogue

2 minutes as in it takes 2 minutes for the dialogue to finish for the tree to actually fall even if you cut it before going to the bridge to trigger the dialogue
