    Wynnic Uniques Compendium or better known as just Wynnic Uniques is a community resource pack made for the Wynncraft server that adds unique skins for in-game collectible items which aims to add additional variety and flavor to gameplay by utilizing features from mods such as Chime and Optifine to implement custom skins for weapons each complete with their own model, texture and animations that the player may seek out or come across. Since December 2018 I have been working on this project on and off again with the foreseeable goal of eventually creating a unique skin for every single collectible weapon in-game including spears, daggers, bows, wands and reliks of every element either based on themes that I think of myself, ideas contributed by the community or lore that is provided by the game.


    Having made significant progress now with every single mythic weapon having a unique skin and expanding into legendary items now thinking of new themes becomes more difficult over time so if you would like to contribute any ideas that you might have for skins on specific items then leave a post in this thread with it, I would love to read and build on them!

    INSTRUCTIONS
    • Download and install Chime or Optifine on your client within any launcher of your choice, the current recommended version for Wynncraft to be played at is 1.12.2, the download for the mod can be found here.
    • Download the latest version of the resource pack from the mod page and drop the zipped file into the resource packs directory of your Minecraft instance
    • Navigate to the resource pack selection page from in-game and enable the resource pack, ensure to load the resource pack as high as possible on the priority list to prevent conflict with other packs that work similarly to this one

    Can this resource pack be used without Optifine?

    Unfortunately not, mods such as Chime and Optifine possess the features that make a resource pack of this nature possible in the first place.

    • NOTICE: This version of Wynnic Uniques is now compatible with Chime for Fabric which can be used instead of Optifine (Optifine is still supported)
    • Chime compatibility now allows for the use of Wynnic Uniques with Sodium on MC1.16!

    This looks awesome! Writing this as I'm downloading the pack. 2 small tips though: Try to format the picture part of the thread a bit better, stick 'em in spoilers or smth. They take up a lot of space rn, especially if you're going to add more. Secondly: A full changelog'd be nice, as you continue to update this. The models look amazing.

    What tools are you using to make these? / can we help with items? Cause with the number of items currently ingame I don't think you'll have a good time doing it alone lol

    I usually switch between various softwares including Blockbench, Cubik Studio, Blender for modelling and Photoshop/Gimp for texturing. If you or anybody else has any ideas, models or textures that you would like to contribute to the project with I'd be more than willing to go over them and add them to the pack. I am solely working on the project myself right now because it would help with creating cohesiveness between all models that would all in some ways resemble the official Wynncraft resource pack as to not make the models in the pack appear out of place.

    Though listing the items that you've added through the changelog is useful, adding a list of items that are affected in a spoiler will be helpful, looks great though.

    You may want to en-longen it though, also it could probably go on the player's back when holding the weapon

    It only looks odd because it hasn't been textured yet, don't think I'll be able to render it on the player's back efficiently with how often the player moves the item around when using it so I decided that the quiver would be attached to the bow instead to make sure it's consistent. (Also to make it visible within the first person view)

    I really like your Pack. I think this low-voxel aproach to modeling in minecraft is really the way to go, and how you manage to make a lot of them still unique is really nice.

    but i dont understand why anyone would ever make strati that shape. honestly whoever does something that bad doesnt deserve to create resource packs. ;)
