    Minecraft:
The above title is true. Partially. There are certain aspects of Wynn that I love and still do, but having been a player for 5 years, I’ve begun seeing a lot of the faults in the game I’ve loved for so long, and I want to talk about them through my eyes.

I started Wynncraft when I was a wee freshman in Highschool, and now I’m a freshman in university, so I’ve been here for a long ass time. From the Rediscover the Province update, to Gavel, to the Gameplay Update, to Corkus, to the new Economy Update that’s coming up soon(™). I’ve made over 13 classes, including 3 ~lvl 100 classes that I’ve deleted. I’ve explored almost every inch of the map, made all different kinds of builds, and even invested myself into the “lore” that the game has (until discoveries were a thing). Along with that, most of my time spent in Wynncraft has been in guilds, whether that’s leading a guild, being part of the administration of a guild, participating in large scale guild wars, or just chilling in a guild’s community as I am right now. So I think it’s safe to say that I’m a veteran player.

First thing I’m going to talk about are the updates.
I’m going to admit, I probably only have about 3 hours on the Hero Beta, so I only know about the beginner levels of what the update has. (Also I’m not sure if I’m allowed to talk about the Beta, so Imma just be kinda vague) But from what I’ve seen was just 12x more grinding per class, if you want to try and do all the new mechanics that the update has to give. Now I’m not saying that grinding is bad, but grinding where you don’t see any immediate impact of progress is a real turn off for me, and it feels like that’s what the direction that the update is going for. Not to mention, from what my friends who have invested more time in the Beta than I have, it seems that the update is mainly geared toward adding more gameplay into the early/mid/late game. The content their isn’t geared toward **endgame**, as there’s no goal that you try to accomplish with all this extra content and grinding that the new update adds. You could completely skip what the new update has to offer. And no, Legendary Island is still technically late game. Wars are also something else that I’ll touch on. Also why did everything need to get refurbished again? I get that Gavel needed a little bit of touching up, but I don’t think that Wynn needed it too after being slightly changed within the past year(?). Anyway, I’ll admit that I haven’t played the Beta (which I paid 80 extra dollars for me and my friend so that we could play together), so I know there may be things I might not get wrong or don’t know about. But I’m gonna say that the immense increase in grind that the update brings is what turned me off playing the Beta a lot.

Now let’s compare this to the past updates. You know what was a good update in my eyes? The Gavel Update. It brought a whole new item system. It brought a new texture pack. It brought a new province that was 33% times bigger than Wynn was at the time. And I loved that. I loved the new lore and gameplay that the update brought, and that’s what kept me coming back when I was on the brink of quitting in 2015. To me, it challenged the way I was playing the game in a new and exciting way. While it did have its flaws, I personally think it was the best update. On the other hand, while I do think the Corkus update was an alright update, it feels like a clunky addition to the Wynn world. (And that might stem from the fact that it was inspired from a suggestion that was deleted and made fun of). I’ll admit, there are parts of Corkus that I liked, but I felt like it didn’t bring anything new to the table, and thus think it’s a bit lower on my rank of updates. The Gameplay Update and the Dungeons & Discoveries update felt more like Quality of Life changes/Small patches. And the updates before Gavel, I didn’t really experience too much, so I can’t say. But comparing the new update to the ones before… it just doesn’t feel right. While this does change how we play the game, we also can just completely skip the new content (from what I see). And though you may argue that just like how Gavel brought 26 new levels to grind (that were way harder to grind than they are now), It wasn’t as complicated, unnecessary, and on the level of grind that the new update brings.

Along with the problem of the content in the newest update, I hate that I waited so long for this to be the newest thing to the table. I may sound like the most selfish, spoiled brat, but the fact that I waited so long for more grinding to come to my plate doesn’t exactly make me happy.

I just wish that the updates felt less like small DLC’s and more like big game changing updates that actually are engaging.

Now, let’s talk about items, elements, and all the such. I know I’m no expert at item making or items. My IM application was said to be promising, however it was still denied back in early November. But that doesn’t mean that I’m completely clueless about what goes on. I’m also totally not upset my app got denied (nah I am very). Now as such, with items, you can create unique builds that utilize different combination of elements to create a unique playstyle. I just want to comment on each element, and my views on them.

Earth: in my eyes, Earth is a very strong element. It’s centered around buffing your damage to create strong, slow hits, whether that’s melee or spell. But you don’t see any super slow melee builds do ya? That’s because tier stacking is the way to go in melee meta. While I feel like this would require a rework in the game’s code, I am frustrated that nothing has been done from the Item team’s perspective to buff the super slow melee style. Also with melee, it isn’t real fun to just always be left clicking (or right clicking with archers), so people tend to gravitate away from pure Earth melee. And that’s just melee though. With spells, you can use Earth in a spell build and be very powerful, but it’s not optimal as there aren’t many weapons that aren’t mythics that are powerful enough to pass that damage threshold, or synergize well to be considered optimal in my opinion. The Earth armor for spells is really powerful, but I feel the weapons are a lil bit lacking. Just a random thought, but if spells had a cool down based on attack speed, I feel that would be a cool way to balance the elemental issues that I will continue on with. Also, with powder passives and specials: Quake and Rage. Quake is really powerful and I like it, it just feels underwhelming. Rage is so powerful since its based on your health pool, which can be constant, unlike other powder passives. I don’t know if it’s more powerful than other passives, but it definitely is one of the best passives. Overall, it’s probably like 4th.

Thunder: It’s a very potent and volatile element, as it should be. The thunder element is tied to dexterity, which increases your critical hit chance. It’s very popular from the people I’ve talked to, and I feel that it’s because its high damage potential as well as its strength against many mobs in war that have a thunder weakness. I think thunder is generally fine across all boards except for mythics. (But I’m not talking mythics right now) Thunder synergizes well with water(int), and I’m beginning to think it might have to do with better weapons. I’m not exactly sure though It does its job as well as earth does damage-wise, if not better, and I think it’s balanced *overall*, with a few outlier items that need tweaking. As for powder passives and specials, Chain lightning is so overpowered when combined with mana steal. I don’t know if that’s how it's meant to be, but it helps hybrid builds exist better. Kill streak is also on that level of power that rage has, but it’s not constantly there so it falls a bit behind.

Water: It’s over powered, and the most popular element since its creation. You wanna know why? Water is linked to intelligence. Intelligence lowers spell costs. Spells are way too good compared to melee. Water items have mana regen, which can help spam these powerful spells. I know the item team has recently been doing work to help reign back the power that water has (woo go them). However, I think the issue is something core with Wynn’s coding. Intelligence will always be the most important skill to have as long as spells are highly spammable with their overall higher dps potential than melee (few exceptions), because it affects mana cost. It also is so good with Mage as well since it affects the heal spell as well as Mage’s already low spell cost, two of Mage’s only redeeming qualities (like Mercy’s Rez hahaha). Curse is so powerful in boss battles with its 210% damage boost on ALL elements, but I don’t think Concentration is too powerful because it’s very hard to achieve the prerequisites it needs (and I think it isn’t stackable????). Therefore, I only see it being used in very spammy spell water builds, which aren’t too popular since Earth and Thunder can damage more in just one spell, even tho water has more dps potential *sometimes*.

Fire: It’s complicated. Fire is linked to Defense, which can only negate neutral damage (if my sources that I’ve had for the past 2-3 years are right) and no elemental damage. This makes Fire a bit worse than the other tanking skill: agility, which can completely dodge both types of damages. It’s inherent characteristic of low mobility also doesn’t contribute to the fact that the damage you take isn’t fully negated. Along with this, its use is very dependent on the class’s intrinsic defense percentages. On Warrior, it’s a complete godsend since you can almost tank everything with the right build. But on Archer with its 60% defense, it’s almost useless without some form of agility. And even so, A lot of the tank builds I see incorporate agility anyway! Fire weapons also tend to have the lowest damage potentials as well, and in a game that favors dps, People tend to stray away from Fire weapons with a few exceptions like Ignition/Diaminar, Flameshot Hilt, and etc. Also, a lot of Fire oriented items tend to not favor damage boost as much as Earth and Thunder, which can further encourage this. Courage is more useful in wars since it directly affects your damage instead of boosting it on a select few targets, and Endurance is definitely good in that it can increase your damage to that of an Earth or Thunder build without their respective powder powers. But again, with all the other complications, I’d say it’s the worst element.

Air: It’s almost as overpowered as Water. It’s basically like Defense but better and faster. Think of it like your new sports car that replaces your old 2007 Honda Minivan. It’s a very speedy boyo. Also for some reason, it favors damage more than Fire items. *looks at Sagittarius and Morrowind* The only downside is that the items usually have less health than normal. Wind Prison is a complete joke since it can be knocked by *any* type of damage you deal and knocks the target back very far, making it almost useless except for a few boss fights. And tbh, I haven’t tried Dodge. I’ve heard from a friend that it’s pretty good in boosting your damage by 3-5k, but again, I can’t really judge. Overall it’s pretty overpowered.

I’m just frustrated that after 2 years, these elements are still not balanced. Water is way too overpowered. Thunder performs way better than earth and has better powder stuff overall. Air just outclasses Fire. Like what? Also side note, why isn’t there a neutral powder to boost neutral damage??? Or a skill that affects that?

Now with all these elements, you might think they create a ton of unique playstyles, right? Wrong. There’s three playstyles: Spell, Hybrid, and Melee. Spell is obviously dominant with its spammability and high damage combination. Melee’s item meta comes in second, and is pretty indistinguishable between each build with a few select items to choose from, as well as it’s very boring gameplay of spamming your left mouse button. The only effective melee build requires you to go really fast, with no options for super slow melee. Hybrid is probably the most interesting, but least effective. You sometimes melee, you sometimes do spells. It’s nice, but not as effective as the former two options. I’m no game designer, but after playing this game for so long, these playstyles are just so… stale. I wish there was more, like the playstyles Salted mentioned in the Gavel Changelog.

“For example, you could go all in with a brute-type build, wearing items making your spells very inefficient but making your main attack insanely powerful. Or maybe you want to be very weird and only attack using your teleport spell? Gear up with items boosting your raw spell damage and your mana regen! And geez, why not go with this strange setup where your health decrease over time and you need to hit enemies to survive? Anything is possible!” (Salted, 1)

I really want to only attack with my teleport spell… sad face.

Also one more thing with items: negative health regen on Earth or Thunder items ain’t fun, and there's no easy way to counter that aside from drinking pots or trying to invest in Defense for HP regen, which effectively makes the build even more complicated due to the issues with defense that I’ve talked about before. I don’t know if this is suppose to be an inherent thing in the game or not, but It’s not fun. Mana steal not activating on every melee hit makes hybrid builds fall below spell builds, but I do see how it’s a balancing point against that. And I just wish melee hits had the same feeling of oomf as spells do when you hit them. Super slow melee is feels more rewarding but is less effective and time consuming while super fast melee is so boring. The whole system feels like such a mess and is so hard to tackle from a beginner’s perspective. There’s so still so much wrong with the balancing between each item even after 2 years of balancing in my opinion, and I wish more could be done to fix this.

    Now for Lore.
I’m gonna clear some things up. I know the basics of the Lore. I know about Bob’s story, the story of Wynn and Gavel, as well as Fruma and Dern. Though I don’t know all the specifics, as I haven’t researched or theorized as hard as that one theory dude. (Spark Hawk? I forgot his name but I know who he is.) I’m just looking at this through a gameplay perspective. What I hate about Wynncraft is that the lore is like Overwatch, but a bit better than Overwatch. You know all the stuff that’s happened in the past (ish). You know all this history behind the characters. But you don’t actually make much impact yourself in the world around you. A lot of the Lore is shoved into the game through Discoveries, but tbh if you really wanted to read up on it, you’d just go through some forum threads or look at the outdated Wiki. I also wanna say that Corkus really feels shoved into the Wynncraft Universe, and it doesn’t fit the feel of it. All the corks and electromagic just give a bad vibe to me. Along with that, a lot of the other quests feel like missions rather than connecting stories. I know that the GM’s are getting better at writing quests, but the overall connection between them isn’t really there. Give me my Storyline Quest, god dammit!

I do want to say though, Wynncraft is a bit better than Overwatch in that when you play through all the quests, The dialogue that the NPC’s give actually kinda changes. But when you get to level 100, nothing really changes. The Corruption and Nether Gate continues existing there. Villagers keep being Greedy. The Ahmsord Islands keep floating. Nesaak is still frozen. What kind of accomplishment in the lore are you supposed to relish in? You fancy shmancy armor and your level 100 tag? I don’t think that’s good from a perspective.

Which brings me on to my next thing to hate about Wynncraft: Endgame. Where’s the endgame? I know some of you might bring up many different points, like making builds, guilds, LI, and such, but lemme quickly refute that.
What endgoal are you going to make your builds for? There isn’t really any endgame raid or boss to fight besides Orange Wybel or LI. And even when you beat those bosses, you beat them for the items to complete your build or the achievement of completing the fight. But even then, the boss fights aren’t too hard, and they’re available year round, so there’s no real rush or sense of achievement for doing them.

Once you get the items for your build, what are you supposed to use your build for? Guild wars? Guild wars are almost pointless. Right now in the guild war meta, people just put 1000 filler lvl 50 mobs, making your build that you worked so hard to make pointless. (That might change with the next update, but idk) And even so, guilds don’t even really serve a full endgame purpose. They’re meant to be a social tool for players, but they don’t really have an endgame feature. You make your build to fight wars. You fight wars to gain territory. You gain territories to gain xp and emeralds from them. You level up and gain riches to… what? Boast your guild banner? My guild leader and good friend, Lovelusting, really enjoys guilds because she likes seeing how they interact socially and politically, but what about the rest of the people who don’t have access to that power and play? I’ll reiterate that I’ve played the King, the Pawn, and the Knight in the game of guilds. After a while, the “endgame” of guilds gets real boring, which is why I don’t see it as real endgame content for the average player.

The subject of guilds brings me to the topic of the community in general.
On the matter of guilds, the community here tends to disregard guilds as something toxic, and that something only a small, crazy, group of people like to participate in. Thus, they tend to just dismiss any topic of guilds as flame wars. Even though recently this type of behaviour and attitude has been dying down since my friend Electrolysis’s thread about loving guilds was posted, I still see this type of behaviour occur occasionally, whether on the forums or in discord. I absolutely abhor when people are this ignorant and try to stop “flame wars” from happening, when it’s simply a discussion or negotiation. I think it’s normal for a discussion to become heated when discussing something you’re very passionate about, but I don’t think it’s right to call them “flame wars”. I hate this the most because many of my friends who I know are good people often get called out for being a bad person just because they are super passionate about guilds. @Drew1011

On the matter of PvP in Wynn, a lot of people on the forums tend to say that Wynn is meant for PvE or PvB. They disregard PvP as a bad idea, and even go about wanting to change the beloved nether for something more PvE oriented. While I agree PvP is imbalanced with its current state and how many ID’s become OP, I still think PvP is one of two things that brings competition, or other words, excitement to Wynncraft (the other is guilds). I hate that a lot of people don’t like PvP, when it’s one of my favorite things to do in Wynn. I hate how basically PvP is scarcely seen (at least to me), and how the nether is basically empty. (I also don’t like how intelligence isn’t a thing in the nether. Like what???)

These are all the things that I hate about Wynncraft. It might just be that nearly 5 years on this game, I just might be looking at the past with rose-tinted glasses of nostalgia. Or I could be right and that these are actual problems with Wynn. Who knows?

Y'all can call me a crazy, old fool. Y'all can call me a spoiled brat. But these problems have been itching at me for a while, and I’ve finally gain the nerve to write them out. Even so, this probably won’t stop me from playing Wynncraft. I grew up with Wynncraft. I’ve gained friendship, love, hate from this server… and I can’t bring myself to hate Wynncraft fully. There’s so much I still love about Wynncraft despite writing this huge rant about hating it. I just wish Wynn could be more than it is now.

(btw I wrote this in three hours of silence and put more effort into it than my college papers, yeet)

So me, being me, I skipped immediately to the part about guilds and I agree 100%.
It’s what I’ve been saying for years. The community dismisses guilds as toxic and as a result the entire guild community is essentially ostracized and discussions about guilds are seen as dumb and pointless half the time.

Wanna know what bothers me the most?
When people call guilds toxic even though they met most of their close friends in the guild community. How can you act like guilds are objectively toxic and terrible when most of your close friends are from it? It’s not like you just happened to meet and befriend the only 10 decent people.

I love Wynncraft, and whilst I think a big part of it might be nostalgia, I know that any issues that exist are slowly being fixed. Outdated builds get revamps, items get nerfed and buffed, lore gets created and added to fill holes in the game and quests allow levelling to be easier so that we can experience everything in the game.
The content team are always improving Wynncraft and even if there's things which I don't like about Wynncraft (Lack of Endgame stuff), I have faith that it'll eventually be touched upon.

Since the replies so far are mainly geared towards guilds, I'll try to clarify a few things about the update and lore sections

You're not forced, intended or even expected to pick up every single profession. The game encourages you to try them out, and pick what you both like and need.

I don't really see how having an update that adds content for every single level range apart from endgame is a bad thing to do. There's been updates which mainly put their focus on a single level range, depending on which needs it most desperately, and it's never been a bad thing or had a negative effect on the game so far. As for the Economy Update, endgame is a part of it as well, depending on how you spend your endgame

That's a key point of the update, feature wise at least. Not to add things that you have to do, but give players more choice in how they play the game.

This is something I highly agree on; Things shouldn't be changed just for the sake of changing them. That's what revamping stands for after all, not remaking. However, most of the revamps have been necessary for various reasons; If something doesn't look good, is bad for gameplay, doesn't fit in with the lore or rest of the world, then they're in need of a revamp. This was the case for the dozens upon dozens of terrains, mobs, trees and multiple towns, hence they were done. However, I still don't think it was necessary or a good thing to completely abandon the original style and idea behind some of the towns for this, such as Detlas.

I partially agree, since the Gavel update was my favorite update too. However, Gavel has remained as the most criticized update for it's content and lore. Several things went unfinished, a lot of things which were supposed to be in it were never done, and the lore didn't make much sense ingame because of this.

Just to clarify, the original post wasn't specifically deleted for this or any other reason. It was wiped, just like the rest of the forums. Game wise, Corkus was still pretty significant, since it brought things such as discoveries into the game, and finally utilized the new system, WynnScript, to it's full potential.

That was the whole point of the update's existence; To be a lead-up update to Gavel, that'd fix a chunk of things wrong with it. Even though it was delayed due to things going lax after Gavel's release, it was still a mere patch, and didn't even receive it's own version state, but being a mere 0.0.1 patch for Gavel's 1.14.0

The main protagonists in the lore are mainly influential people in the world, with their whole lifetime at hand. You on the other hand, are just a gullible but good-willed recruit from Fruma, who spends the game building fame and trust around himself by doing good deeds and heroic acts. It wouldn't make much sense if a single person like this cleared the entire world of all evil in a day or two. You should also note that minecraft and especially multiplayer are very limited in multiple ways, hence we can't make changes to the world like that. The game is more about learning what happened and training your skills to help people to the best of your abilities. Not to be a superhero.

Both discoveries and quests do a large part at explaining the lore to you, as long as the player bothers to read and watch cutscenes. You should also note, that basic discoveries only give you basic information of things, while the dozen hidden discoveries explain it deeper. The game's intention isn't to shove everything it has into your face, but to allow you to hunt for or find it on your own. As for other things, there isn't really anything else that could be used to give players knowledge of the lore.

Not every quest is, nor needs to be deeply tied into the lore, or be a case of you doing something remarkable. Having you help people out of your good will helps break up that sense of pointless game objectives, and replace it with making the world seem more lively.

It's just as easy as snapping your fingers, eh? Not really. Writing a good story can take years even for big companies, and still fail. Meanwhile, Wynn is created by a limited amount of voluntary individuals and doesn't possess the resources to make that happen in a short amount of time. It'll take long, and there's still more pressing requirements above it at the moment

Well obviously. I understand that Wynn's CT team is mainly volunteers at the moment, and probably(?) not as big as larger companies. The point of that statement was to throwback to the time when Salted said that the Storyline would come shortly after Gavel. I do understand the circumstances of how that possibly got delayed so many years, and how it still can be delayed even further. Every single update in Wynn takes 8 months or more, and as I realized I'm soon going to hit my 5th year on this server in three months. I'm already 19 years old, and I'm beginning to realize that I'm not going to have all the time in the world to keep waiting. Which is why I want to emphasize how I hate the fact that that's how it is.

I was implying that Intelligence was, by calling it by the element it's linked to. Should have been more clear.

When I wrote that Thunder performed better than Earth, I was writing in the context of the weapons. Excluding mythics, I remember that many of the Earth weapons were outclassed by Thunder weapons. However, I know that recently some of the Earth weapons got reworked/buffed, so that might have changed some things up. As for powder specials, Rage is what allows Earth to deal higher consistent damage constantly, which is why its better than Kill Streak overall. I know Quake still deals pretty high damage, but I'm emphasizing how it feels very underwhelming compared to the power that Chain Lightning has. And you're right about the piercing that Earth has over Thunder. I forgot to factor that in.

I guess I have a tendency to call skill points by their elements, but it's not too far fetched. I mean that Agility outclasses Defense, which in turn causes Air to outclass Fire. The survivability of Fire is highly dependent on the class you pick, which I think is wrong. You say that Archer can go Fire without putting points in agility, but it still takes a hella lot more damage than you'd think. I played an Fire archer with all positive elemental defenses, yet when I tested my defenses with the local mobs in Molten Heights, my health still got halved within 7 seconds. It's very dumb that Defense/Fire is dependent on the class's intrinsic defense. I think it's also dumb that elemental damage doesn't get negated by defense, yet agility technically can. Along with that, Agility has high walkspeed over Fire's usually low or negative walkspeed as well. Walkspeed definitely makes a difference.

That happens with most of the games. The longer you play, the more you realize certain things are... out of the place. It's not only exclusive to the games either, life in general works that way.
Also, I doubt you truly hate Wynn. Hate is a strong word and a very heavy feeling to experience, you are more likely annoyed, aggravated and disappointed, considering you have been playing for so long.

I must defend them on that.

They speak about giving to a place which has a big potential in term of lore and gameplay, the said gameplay, there is a lot of lore around it, but the only things there is is PvP (Like, please, we are supposed to find monsters in there and we just find players to beat). And deleting the PvP from the Nether doesn't mean it will not be moved somewhere else. In the same thread, it is said that the reason why people dislike PvP in the nether is that it's not really a place fitting this activity, fire and lava everywhere, the surroundings of the Nether are rarely visited by any players since the PvP is mainly done in the center of the area, it's too big and the few type of structures there is (Big pillar mostly) is not enough to diversify the PvP gameplay, it's basically always the same, the only things that changes are the builds you use/fight against.
You could say "Yes but if people want other type of structures they can do a duel", well yes, but that's only 1 vs 1, you can't do a battlefield out of a duel.

To simplificate : They just want to change the position of the actual PvP area for something that fits better and give the Nether a gameplay that fits the lore it was given.

That's all that come to my mind right now, but I think it's already enough.

To be honest, me myself as a 5 year old player, I've realized that the guild community is kind of broken and other things are a little out of hands, but nothing stops me from trying to finish every single part of Wynn! I joined Wynncraft as a 9 year old, so i would call Wynn a big part of my childhood :D But there are a lot of things that could've been done differently. Updates shouldn't be rushed either, and it feels like they are. I wouldn't mind if they spent 2 years on an update, as long as it is actually some good quality in it, i'd be more than happy for 2 more years!

PvP should be an option. FIXED PvP, that is. Endgame players don’t have that much use for their builds other than to make boss fights easier, but those get boring quick. Wynn PvP needs to be a thing, it can be a part of the game that you can enjoy the entirely of your playthrough, as with each level and more gear, you become a more formidable opponent against others in PvP. I think Wynn needs a zone similar to Runescape’s “Wilderness” (the nether could work). This PvP zone should hold some valuable loot as you venture into it, but also be more dangerous the deeper you go

The problem with PvP is that it's incredibly unbalanced, and is probably incredibly hard to fix (although reworking is more possible).
    A. Some classes (Archer/Maybe Assassin) have absolutely massive and undeniable advantages over others (Warrior/Mage), making PvP extremely unbalanced.
    B. Some skills (AGI) have absolutely massive and undeniable advantages over others (DEF), making PvP extremely unbalanced
    C. Some playstyles (Spell/Poison) have absolutely massive and undeniable advantages over others (Hybrid/Melee), making PvP extremely unbalanced
    D. The nature of most PvE-based games is: Low HP + High Damage Player vs High HP + Low Damage Boss, and Wynn is no exception. Translate that into PvP and you get Low HP + High Damage Player vs Low HP + High Damage Player. This turns most duels and PvP into... well... something that I, and many others don't find fun. Of course, there's builds that sort of "Cancel" this effect, but most don't.
    E. Fixing some of these problems would be easy (Def -> Affects Elemental Damage), but some would be near impossible to fix. Problem A would take entire class reworks to get over, and if you DO manage to balance certain classes, not only would people complain about nerfs/buffs, but some classes would likely not feel "right" (EX: Ranged Warrior LUL). Problem C is probably not fixable either. Problem D is probably the worst, due to the fact that in order to fix this, you'd likely have to re-balance the HP of a majority of the countless mobs in the game.

I totally agree, you basically spoke about he problems of PvP that I wasn’t able to articulate at 4am in the morning. In order for PvP to be fun and balanced, a whole rework is required.

2 Years ago I have stopped playing Wynncraft because Guild Wars weren't even working properly (bugs ect.) and I lost a huge amount of money on trying to get a white horse, and today I thought why not look up what happened to Wynncraft and maybe start playing it again if it got better... But after reading some stuff here I am not quite sure...
So are Guild Wars (capturing territories) working properly and are also fun or boring? And is there still not enough end game content for lvl 100 players ? And PvP is a must for a game like Wynncraft, PvP keeps games alive and doesn't get boring like same PvE over and over again so I hope that its not as bad as some people say it is.

And Killerfish thank you for taking 3 hours to write this, this is highly interesting for someone who has quit but wonders how it was in that time ^^ .

If you haven't played in 2 years then I'd still 100% recommend joining just to experience everything that changed; Corkus update, Gameplay update, D&D Update etc. and while endgame might not have an infinite amount of options there is still a lot more to do than there was 2 years ago. Guild wars (and guilds in general) are fixed and working properly, the repetition people here speak of usually only sets in after you've done a few hundred.

I’d say if you quit and were looking to rejoin, then do so! The game changes a lot and improves every year, so it definitely is different than it was two years ago.

While I am glad you found this enjoyable to read, I want to clarify that in no way am I saying Wynncraft is the worst game ever with a bunch of flaws. These are just grievances I’ve noticed after spending thousand upon thousands of hours in this game and playing constantly everyday. Even despite this rant, I still enjoy Wynn very much, I just wanted to discuss things I believed were problems in Wynn.

Can you please change the title from "I hate Wynncraft" to something like "What i think of Wynncraft", because it's kinda annoying seeing the title every time i come even though no ones hate Wynncraft.
