No matter how I write the title, every word gets capitalized. How do I turn that off?
    It's kind of annoying!

No, it happens automatically, regardless of what you type.

You can’t. It’s stupid, but everything is automatically capitalized and capital letters are forced lowercase. This prevents threads from having full caps titles and being spammy and annoying.
This is not correct at all.

as mentioned above, there are invisible characters that you can use to prevent the issue, as the invisible character can be the first character of a word and not a letter; thus, the letter itself remains lowercase while the title looks visually the same

from wikipedia's page on whitespace characters, try this one: ◀▶
there's an invisible character put between the two arrows, which you can copy/paste for usage
the arrows are there so that you can actually select the text; delete them when using
