Question About Cosmetics

Last month I bought some crates from the store so I could help support the site and what not. After all of it, I was able to roll a frosty spear (black market cosmetic) and I had a bunch of one I wanted to scrap. I ended up getting to the point where I could make a black market cosmetic from scrapping. I scrapped the stuff and got...... another frosty spear. Is there anything I can do about it? I only need one, so I wasn't sure if I could ask if they could give me a different one or not. I appreciate any and all help.

If you get a duplicate, black market, item, you can't scrap it again, unfortunately. You're stuck with it

 

Sadly, there's nothing we can do about this. Crate rewards are designed to be random, and an unfortunate side effect of this is that sometimes you can get duplicates of black market items.

 

Wasn't black market items supposed to fix this exact problem?
