I am back after many years, do i still keep my rank i purchased??

It says in game im a veteran and my name is in bold green text, sorry i am blank about this game.

 

the veteran rank is basically the same as vip (gives the same perks), but it shows you bought vip before eula was introduced. if you don't it to display vet and you want it to show "vip" instead, type "/toggle vet" in game

How can I link my new minecraft name to my forum account, it says that its already linked but not to my new name

 

i believe you can edit it directly just by going to
Profile -> Personal Details -> Change Username (on the left column)
