    there will probs never be new classes in the future due to the time it would take to balance and the loads of items to add

    In Grian "Wynncraft Q&A - Gavel!" video he answers the same question with:
    Question: Will there be a new class?
    Answer: No, not yet.
    So there might be a new class and from how he says it its seems that they already chose what the class will be, but seeing that this video was very old they might already be canceled.

    Well, the main storyline was meant to come out "a few weeks after Gavel"
    so yeah.
