Warrior/Knight New Braker Is Kinda Nice

was messing around with the braker change a while ago but only now decided to make a thread about comparing some melee weapons

the main problem before is that braker didnt really have any use over ignition, both having similar dps, but braker being glassier and and no LS, and while diaminar is better for straight dps, not having exploding really effects how good it performs in situations like guild wars. but now with the massive damage boost, the possibility of higher explosion than ignition, and almost 500 max LS, id say thats pretty good for the cost of low hp

Ignition vs. Braker is basically a choice between better hp and ls or better dps like it was/is for Diaminar vs. Ignition.
If it wasn't for Apocalypse's lifesteal, I would honestly say new Braker is better than Apoc (basically the same dps but braker has much higher hp, but apocalypse has ~300ls more and slightly easier to proc due to very fast).
EDIT: Nvm I'd still say apoc is better since it can penetrate easier due to higher base.

braker also makes rikter obsolete (same dps but higher tankiness)

spell braker is also somewhat ok (even though warrior spell is meh)

 

imo id prefer braker because the damage is higher, hp is muh different with your build, and theres only a 200~ LS difference, and i would still say apoc is better because its possible to get upto 13k dps, even tho its glassy af, ontop of what you said

id agree is apoc didnt have almost twice the LS

 

I was also informed during a discussion yesterday (and I didn't realize till yesterday) that apoc also has higher penetration due to it's higher base than that of braker, so it is still more effective for fighting mobs with fire def (AHEM Cybel).
