This is different than Religion, Cults, by definition, do not need to be negative. It's just that most are due to the nature of what they are.

There could be a cult about Worshiping Ice Cream and all it's members get together and watch The office while eating Ice Cream every Saturday, believing Ice Cream is God itself descending from the great Udder of creation and sifting through the Factory of Divinity before landing in their Mortal Bowls, and I don't know about you, but that doesn't sound very negative.
