Old Map

I found the old map! And also wynncraft, explain the red circled stuff! WHAT ARE THEY?

Speculation Time: First, the Islands. I suspect the right one might have been old selchar and the middle one might have been some additional fort [like Ragni]. Second, Pig Valley. Simple, just Time Valley but renamed & different. Third; At the desert.... Mummy's Tomb? Fourth, The Green Spots... I have no idea. Fith, Old roots of corruption... Without the spikes they look weird. Also the green spot next to terenaves I didn't get to mark, what is it?

 

Right island is old Mage Island.
Middle island didn't serve any purpose, but the castle can still be seen i the background of the bob fight.
The "mummy's tomb" was the old Silverfish dungeon if I recall correctly.
I think the green spots are just field with green crops.

 

Definitely intriguing, I do believe faragoo is right, the right one was mage island.

The middle island I have no idea what it was for, the one off the right is mage island, The one near Almuj is the old silverfish dungeon, and I dont remember the Pig Valley, but I am assuming they replaced that with the Time Valley after.

 

Ah, the good old days. I remember when the map was like this, all very simple and easy to memorize. Now you have canyon of the lost...

Interesting how the terrain arch near nesaak has remained unchanged for so long

The green spots are just farms I believe

 

The old desert was pretty cool.

I use that every time I go to nesaak

literally unplayable

 

I may enjoy brutally nuking and remaking old terrain
But I would never touch that arch (tho @ConquistadorBob touched it kinda grrrrrrr)

You mean the arches to the north-east of Nesaak, just south of the Roots of Corruption, right? If so, then yes. Never touch them.

Also, this is pre-Wynn Excavation isn't it?

 

seeing “pig valley?” marked on there hit me hard yo, i remember walking through there with some friends after making it through the pigmen ravines. Me and my party almost died like 10 times, we kept having to hide in caves lol. But, when we got out and saw pig valley, it was like a freakin’ paradise, seeing the grass and rivers after what felt like miles of massive mountain ravines, sand, gravel, and dirt.

Yes there was very good lore back in the day I agree.

And if you couldn't tell, I think that's complete bullshit. Besides, we've got a quest coming for time valley in 1.18.
