What's The Deal With Csst?

Corrupted Sand-Swept Tomb or Courregated Stainless Steel Tubing... Ofcourse I'm joking it's Corrupted Sand Swept Tomb. But what's the deal with it? 99% of people go around non-stop talking about CSST. Is it the best XP source? Is it fun? Is it really important? Overhyped? I don't get it.

It's a dungeon people abuse to get easy xp, it's extremely efficient at doing so. Takes like 4 minutes at max with a full party + a dungeon bomb.

 

its currently the best way to get xp, (it wont be when 1.18 comes tho) but theres a certain part of the community that will shame you and act like your not a real human if you use it lmao

 

It was a dungeon that was abused because it can be completed relatively quickly and easily with large groups of people. It was also one of the fastest ways to get XP as far as I know of. Because of how easy it is to get XP from a CSST party, a good chunk of the community hates it as well.

And my fingers are too slow.

 

What's the deal, with airline food?

 

CSST is a method level 70+ players use to skip 30% of the games content with a dull repetitive unbalanced dungeon that increases a number on their screen

Tbh after leveling a class for the 5th time, you can say that aswell about the content being repetitive. No one is to blame though, its just how MMORPGs are. One simply does not make new quests every week.
Still makes no sense if you consider the alternative: Leveling slowly, with the same quests and grinding spots over and over again.

 

OP now but will get a long awaited nerf in the next update.

It's simply just press W, hug wall and wait for other people to complete the battles for you. It doesn't take a lot of efforts yet they can gain XP so fast for just pressing W. It made endgame content obselete and insignificant, and made achieving level 100 or 101 no longer a respectable achievement. That's why people hate it, doing CSST felt cheap and meaningless, and very unfair to those who are actually the ones contributing the tokens for the fights.

 

And then one day everyone get cbbt except you and you obviously have your xp armor on

 

don't ccst if it's your first time playing if you do you're a scum bag to yourself because you ruined the game for your sake

edit:on the special condition that you:

• Finished all quests and don't have any left (As in if you can't start it, it counts)
• Found all discoveries.
• Tried all of the dungeons at least once and won.
• Something important i haven't thought about

 

You mean a buff? Becouse from what I've heard, it's getting boost in xp reward.

 

Given that it actually takes effort to complete it now, I guess the xp-to-effort ratio got nerfed (if you can quantify it).

it's definitely not the best xp source (dragonlings, manis etc are faster when done right [featuring totems]), but it's so easy to do that everyone just does it.

csst isn't as fast as some spots (needs totems though)
now, as for "same quests and same grinding spots over and over again" is true, but csst is technically more repetitive (csst is literally the same exact spot and dungeon for 30 levels, grinding can have some variety [might grind in one spot for a thunder mage then change to a different place in an air archer)

 

CSST is a fantastic way to get xp, yes it is dull and repetitive, but it is 20x less repetitive than grinding.
I would rather do CSST for 2 hours rather than grind for 2 hours.

 

Well, "best" depends on the situation. If you have totems and a good mob grinding build, it is faster. But for most people without these things, CSST is the best option.
