Well anyways using more glassier items in an Ignis build is usually the best option as Ignis has the +hp to make that actually work. One possible build like this could be https://wynndata.tk/s/rLDjSs. It looks sp tight, but the only item you need to roll for skill points is finesse (and tbh getting a good sp finesse isn't too difficult).

Also btw putting spare sp into defense as archer is practically useless. You can buff your fire damage (and strength usually will do more than that anyways) but the defense boost you get is irrelevant because of how low archer's base defense is already. Tank archer isn't a good option because of this (and most mobs do at least some neutral damage anyways, although high elemental defense isn't necessarily a bad thing), leaving you with basically three options to actually be "tanky" as archer:
A large health pool.
A butt load of agility.
A butt load of lifesteal (typically hybrid chain builds).
Ignis is best suited for the 1st of those three. It can easily access a large health pool to survive and (using the glassier fire items and some spell items) can dish out good damage with good mana sustain at the same time.

 

If it helps, replacing the boots with Silt of Seafloor, would bring all elemental defenses to 1000+
Also, Another option for leggings would be Hephaestus-Forged Greaves, in this case you can replace prowess with Diamond Fusion Bracelet for more elemental defenses.

Combat wise, It is needless to say that Powder passive plays an important role in terms of boosting damage output. With a defense focused build, Ignis could still reach 10-15k bomb dmg with a few seconds of Endurance boost, also known as fire powders on armor.
