History Of The Wynncraft Map

These two shamelessly ripped from an old thread:

Map from some unspecified time during either 1.8 or 1.9 (can't see Troms so I can't tell for sure, but I think it's 1.8 because quests were added in 1.9)


Map from 1.11 (or possibly 1.10 but I don't think so)


Has anyone found a map from 1.12, or from versions before 1.8?

Also looking at the version history, apparently I left Wynncraft for the first time over a year before Gavel...

 

You can really see the evolution if you look at the current map.

Alright, so it looks like most of the modern Wynn map dates from 1.12 (I left a few months after that was released).

 

so much memories! :'( its fun and interesting to watch a game evolve! see every update and every new thing added to the game!

edit: what was that castle in the first map?

 

You can see some of the older maps on Wayback Machine. It's a bit buggy though. (I can't get it to display a pre-Troms map)

 

The castle on the first map apparently had something to do with Bob. I don't think it was ever used.

 

Its the castle that appears in the background of the Bob bossfight arena

 

There used to be an old unused "Castle Island" in the Ocean before the Ocean Update. When the rest of the Ocean was added, the ripped and repurposed it to be put in Heaven for the Bobs Reincarnation Final Boss Fight.
