The New 1.18 Update Won't Be Suitable For Old Versions

In the hero beta, I've seen some blocks that aren't there in 1.8/1.9/1.10? and I've also asked jp he also said it won't be played on older versions. So that's what I wanted to clarify (because the staff probs won't say it).

In the past they have said that older versions replace new blocks with old ones. Don't worry, I think 1.8 will still finally be dead

 

Why would you ever think something so crucial wouldn't be notified about.

 

Jpresent said ingame that they will drop the support for 1.8. But didn't say anything bout other versions.

We’ve used block/mobs and game mechanics that are all used in 1.12 so
1.12 is now the definitive best version to play Wynn in

 

To add to what Snerp said. We've started using 1.12 mobs/blocks a lot now, but if you for some (dumb?) reason still want to play on lower versions, its possible (except 1.8) You will just see different blocks/mobs instead, that will make the game uglier.

So I recommend playing on 1.12, but 1.9-1.11 still work

 

I’ve always played in 1.12 since it came out anyways so I guess I’m fine

U can still play on 1.8 it just replaces the new blocks with 1.8 blocks
