The Envoy Part Ii Game Crash

I keep having an issue where the combat phase in the temple in The Envoy Part II causes me to be forcibly disconnected from the server. I've tried to get through this quest like 4 times and it happens at the same stage every time. Any ideas?

Is there an especially resource-demanding enemy or animation or something that spawns/occurs after the first few waves of mobs? The error I get has something to do with a packet being larger than expected... idk (my apologies, I don't have a screenshot of this).

 

Are you playing in 1.13? If so, change versions (the most stable are 1.12.2 and 1.11.2), and that could solve the problem.

 

Yes, I was in 1.13. Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely try that!
