SPOILER Secret Feature Theory

Hello, I haven't seen any serious theory about the "secret feature", but then again I don't come here very often, so please tell me if my theory has already been explored.

For me, the secret feature looks like some kind of auction house for players to buy and sell items such as armors, weapons, potions, powders or the upcoming new craftable items.

I got that theory after comparing the SF with another game, called "Dofus". In Dofus, you have those auction house, and those are really important, because most of the time you don't want to deal with players shops, because those don't always have what you're looking for, or are selling it at a crazy price.
Auction house, on the other hand, are centralized, so that mean as long as someone somewhere put an item on sale, it will appear here, and also the items are listed by price, and to put on sale you have to pay a loan equal to a small part of what you're selling it for. That keeps the prices in check.

Now, why do I think the SF will be that ?

The update is called the "Economy Update", an auction house would help players based exchanges by making those easier and faster (no need for 2 players to be at the same place and same time, or even interact), also the new professions and crafting system will propably mean that a some items will be needed in big quantity to farm, and consequently, as much items will be created from farming. I don't think exchanges like they're done today could handle that, we would some sort of organization.

On this image of the SF, taken from the trailer breakdown thread by WynnChairman, we can clearly that behind the black thing, there's something looking like a stock from a merchant that would sell a lot of differents things. Also, it's apparently in Detlas, which would make sense that the auction houses would be in major towns.

I'm not sure which thread you're referring to nor am I sure what point you're trying to make?
