Thrunda ripsaw is only considered a joke because infused hive dagger is considerably better in damage and overall stats
like all hive weapons are roughly 90% of the time excluding mythics
this can apply to things such as Wick, Zero, Judas, etc. as well

Even at base thunder hive is overall better, and even though base isn't as important as with an actual build, just hive dagger alone is overall already better, hence the reason people meme ripsaw into oblivion.

 

You forget that 1k more damage adds up fast when you add all of the Thunder dmg % the 1k adds up really hard.

 

But ripsaw did more damage than hive in every spell?
