On paper it's a good character, yes, but I always like to know the personality behind D&D characters. What makes them stand out, what is their backstory, how do they fit into the world. Do they have family, pets, artifacts, quirks? I wasn't able to find any of this on the sheet, which might've just been me not looking good enough. Still, I like having characters with depth, which allows me to weave them nicely into the story, give them character arcs, development and time in the limelight

The backstory, and other things like the flaws, doesn't show up to anybody that isn't the owner of the character for some reason, I have no idea why they did it like this. Also I'm not going to have myself start off with any pets or artifacts if that's not included in what class I picked, as that's kind of cheating (at least I think). For example: You pick a class that doesn't come with a familiar, and you say "well, to bad, I get one anyways" that wouldn't really be fair to any players who chose a class that would give them a familiar.

Guess that's just me being a loose DM. I like giving people a lot of freedom in how they make their characters or what they do. If they want a small pet (Like a lizard, mouse, rat, you name it) I'll allow it, but not to use it in combat. If they want an artifact, I give it to them, as long as it isn't game breaking. (Watch that works as a Spell Focus, a cigar case that summons an infinite amount of cigars which disappear when they leave the user's hands, etc.)

I'd personally take some points out of intelligence and put them in constitution and dexterity. Con should NEVER be a dump stat. Intelligence isn't that important for a sorcerer. You could also switch false life for mage armor or something.
I'd also switch arcana proficiency with persuasion because arcana really isn't that important.

It's a good character. His build depends on if you're trying to mid-max them or play to flavor. My husband has a warforged Barbarian in totem...who is literally just a mobile chef unit. Made purely for flavor and he's great. Sounds like Cogsworth from Fallout 4!
