Hope For Next Update

Main hope is that the items you get such as wood, ores, fish, etc. won't be able to be sold (if the idea of this update is to sell items you get) for high prices like over 1 EB because then people would just farm and mythic prices would plummet.

 

You mean *skyrocket. More inflation would be bad absolutely, but I’m leaning towards the idea that you’ll be able to craft with those resources. Such as cooking/consuming fish for stat buffs or adding certain materials to your weapons or brewing potions.

 

Yeah it looks more like the crafting type. But you never know you might be able to trade them. I hardly doubt it tho

 

Perhaps we could trade these resources with NPC's for items such as shields with wood and copper and maybe consume fish with a new hunger mechanic?

Doubt it but it's always a possibility.

Its much more likely that youd be able to craft the shield itself... although I doubt shields are being added themselves.

 

i was thinking if the materials give stat boosts if you could put it on a weapon it would be limited based on the item
eg: you won't be able to make a super amazing 1000% spell damage oak wand

 

I think this seems most likely. It sounds like essentially an expansion of the concept of powder slots.

Thought I had while typing this post - could it be that each item is limited to a certain number of stars? I.e. crafting items with two stars take up more "space" on an item?

 

Hopefully the materials are used for upgrading and not just crafting, having everything connected seems like a good choice for this kind of update.
